What was pretty concerning was Canucks losing 5 faceoffs in a row (I think 4 of them in their own zone) in the final 1:30 of the game.

It's almost surprising Vegas couldn't tie it with all that possession.

But yes, kind of.

Sorry but I can't NOT tease about that line LUL

but I promise I'll save it for actual 'kind of' big wins like this one.

If they ever actually slay THE dragon, I'll let it go

One massive reason why we need Lindholm back.

Yah Hertl dummied Miller in the circle that whole last 2 minutes

Coilers chances of winning the Pacific Division just got weaker with McDavid's lower body injury.

For once, a player injury helps the Canucks.

Edmonton will rest McDavid to make sure that he is 100 percent for the playoffs.

vegas has lost 3 games in a row. kings have been bumped up to 3rd in the pacific now.

SkinnyPupp 04-10-2024 07:48 PM

Whatever it takes for the Canucks to not face the Kings in round 1, I support it

spoon.ek9 04-10-2024 08:24 PM

if Oilers were to face Kings in round 1 I'm pretty sure they'd destroy them lol. Which would be good for the league in general to not have to watch 1-3-1 playoff hockey.

sonick 04-10-2024 08:57 PM

Hughes carrying the team on his back some mega shifts from him

pastarocket 04-10-2024 09:00 PM

Another one that should be called on both players

SkinnyPupp 04-10-2024 09:17 PM

Fack

pastarocket 04-10-2024 09:18 PM

Hronek should have gone for a slap shot on that penalty shot. Oh well.

Well that was exciting at least

pastarocket 04-10-2024 09:19 PM

Hope they bring the 3rd period energy into the last games and the playoffs.

That's how they were playing during their streak, hope they can get it back.

Hondaracer 04-10-2024 09:33 PM

They played great just bad luck with the chances fuck we needed thay OT penalty shot

AzNightmare 04-10-2024 09:37 PM

lol. That shot attempt was pretty bad. Not fooling any NHL goalie with a fake wind up like that. Probably would have been more effective if he actually shot it after the theatrics.

The fake fake shot would have worked! 4Head

68style 04-10-2024 10:32 PM

After he faked the clapper and went right, the goalie pushed off so hard with his stick in tight... he could have easily done that one hand on the tick Forsberg thing and slid it into an empty net lol... but I guess Hronek is not a big goal scoring forward so creativity level is a bit lower than some others

Hondaracer 04-11-2024 06:55 AM

I dunno.. I thought it was a decent attempt he almost had him beat if the goalie bit a little

I don't know why players go so slow for the penalty shot. Unless you got great hands like Patrick Kane. You are better off going in with speed.

BlackV62K2 04-11-2024 10:26 AM

Canucks struggling against bottom feeder teams at this point isn't a good look going into the playoffs. I can't see them making out of the 1st round.

Hondaracer 04-11-2024 10:29 AM

They just beat Vegas?

68style 04-11-2024 10:36 AM

This happens a lot at the end of the season... why go balls out against shit teams with 3-4 games left and risk an injury. Heck, last year, Toronto didn't even dress Matthews or Marner for the last 3-4 games of the season.

And you know the guys on a team like the Coyotes are fighting for a contract next year or trying to take a chunk of pride into the summer.

I wouldn't put much weight into it.
