Always love it when Van beats Mtl, my buddy is a hardcore Habs fan and I laugh constantly reading his text message diatribes after about how the Habs got screwed and it couldn't possibly be the talentless Canucks are better

His big thing last night was that the refs didn't call the Canucks mauling Guhle all game... I was like dude... he literally skated towards Blueger who already had his elbow up with the puck in his skates and was like "What happens if I put my face here" Guhle's an idiot lolol

keifun 03-22-2024 07:23 AM

It's always nice when the Canucks beat the Habs and Laffs at home. Shuts up all their fans in attendance.

AzNightmare 03-23-2024 05:45 PM

OH geez,
Leafs up 5-0 against the Oilers going into the 3rd.
It's 5-3 now. Don't blow the lead....

One and only time I'm cheering for the Leafs...

AzNightmare 03-23-2024 05:53 PM

Nice Edmonton lost. Canucks can get some more breathing space with a win tonight.

It's funny how it's shaping out... Any of Canucks' potential first round opponent will be most likely Vegas, StLouis, or Minny. The 3 teams Canucks played against during covid playoffs.

Way to gut out a win after the Phlegms put on some pressure in the 3rd 1 goal down

pastarocket 03-23-2024 08:32 PM

Finally, Lindholm scores a goal haha. Empty net.

His first goal in a month.

strong team effort for the win tonight! flames tried their best but we still took them down relatively easily. happy for lindy on that ENG, he needed that.

mb_ 03-24-2024 07:01 AM

Was at the game last night and the crowd was BUZZING!

Stats don't really show it but Canucks outplayed the Flames for most of the game. Those 2 big hits by Hronek and Zadorov were fucking amazing. Thought Lindholm and Podkolzin played pretty well too.

bobbinka 03-24-2024 12:46 PM

Hope they keep it up, cause in the remaining 11 games have to face Dallas, LA (2), Vegas (2), Edmonton, and Winnipeg, all fighting for higher seeds. Only 3 games are against non-playoff teams, Anaheim and Arizona (2).

spoon.ek9 03-24-2024 01:46 PM

those are all excellent opportunities to test themselves before the playoffs start. I like it! good or bad, they will learn from the experience and hopefully walk into the post season on a high note.

Does CBC have free streaming on Canuck playoff games?
Unfortunately I'll be away on a trip in late April. I'm not sure how Sportsnet work in regards to region blackouts.

I won't have a TV so just going to rely on online streaming.

sportsurge.net (Volokit2 has the best stream but it's very spammy with links so use incognito)

What is Volokit2?
I haven't been having very good luck with getting these sites to work.
I must have a list of at least 5 of them, although I haven't tried this one yet.

nvm: got it. thanks

It's one of the sites that is aggregated by sportsurge. It has the best, most consistent streams imo, but they have that stupid thing where they stuff cookies whenever you click anywhere on the screen. Adblock sometimes picks it up, but sometimes there's some lag before it does.

If you have a US VPN, you can watch ESPN streams directly at 1080p 60 fps 8000 kbps. It looks great

But certainly if you watch all the games, you should buy an NHL subscription

When I was in HK and Taiwan in January, Sportsnet refused to load.

Luckily Bet365 was streaming a few of the games so I could watch them in Taiwan (it's banned in HK).

Thanks, I was able to test it out earlier on Tampa's game and then the Flames. I was surprised how quick and easy it was to connect to the stream. Just one full screen ad that I had to click the "x"

Usually I'm on sites with 5 ads all over the place with decoy X's and then only to find the feed doesn't even play or an ad asking me to download spyware.

-also some good news in terms of the health of Dakota Joshua.

Media reports indicate that Dakota is practicing now. He wears a red jersey for non-contact.
