Canucks are going to have a rough time against most teams in the playoffs.

Regardless, Canucks are still a team that will need Demko to stand on his head to win games. And not sure when he's returning...

They need Demko, but Petey needs to be getting points or generate chances. He is playing magician again.

I'm not sure what everyone is mad about lately with the Canucks. Media, Canucks Reddit, this forum. This team was hot garbage for nearly a decade. A laughing stock of the league. Up against the cap, but bottom five in the standings.

Finally having a strong season and people are still complaining. I can tell you for sure that this team is not winning the Cup this season. If they can get to the second round, I call that a big win based on what everyone's expectations were at the start of the season. Most of these guys have never experienced winning before. I say it will take another year or two before any large expectations should be placed on them.

Yeah, I set the bar low for the team before the start of this season. If the Canucks made the playoffs, then they met my expectations. They make the playoffs. If they make some noise in the post season and win one playoff round, great. If they do not get past the first round, the team has met my expectations already.

Go Canucks go!!

^ this ... I projected they will go into 2nd round ... and 50/50 if they will survive that. If they do win round 2, I'd consider it big W and a good season honestly. (I know masses will be like ... we didn't win the Cup, dammit!)
