I spent half an hour with the pressure-washer getting every square inch of my Zuk spotless Tuesday night...went out and modded some mud all over it again last night :D More to come this weekend :D |
id just like to say huge ups to Southwest Motorad for the work they've done on the RRockstar so far this year. today they pulled another 5hp out of it with some top end tuning. my fuel mapping was all ove the place before and now the A/F graph is litterally a straight line at 13:1 from 10k to the limiter above 15k rpm. the midrange is also pretty straight but a little lean but i can tweak that myself. my power curve is now basically a straight line from idle to about 14k rpm and the price was so good i cant even mention it here. |
Took off the steelies and got the summer shoes back on........and gave it a hell of a wash. Finally got my mounting bracket for my deck in. Gets installed next saturday and then a few hours of tuning |
Modded more mud onto the truck up at Gillard. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1.../f-250/008.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1.../f-250/007.jpg |
You should've gone up to postill, there was plenty of mud to be modded onto a truck there. |
Replaced a faulty caliper and threw new pads on... Just in time to see the bulge in my damn tire. Off to the tire store tomorrow. |
Started to paint the entire truck with rocker-guard. |
modded myself a new DD http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/4...1671jw8.th.jpg high cr 8v.. good on gas and handles like a go-kart. |
Nice man, looks great. |
modded a 8500 radar detector on to the dash. Not cheap, but I almost got a ticket for doing 10 over. I figure it will be cheaper to have it in the long run, of course I could just slow down a bit. |
shoulda got a V1 |
modded some new fenders on my new project.. 86 chev. 1/2 ton 4x4... currently has a six in lift.. puttin 3 more inches on it... some 36's.. and.. brand new sheetmetal all around... |
Clutch arrived today. |
Got another trans for the beast. |
Did my first oil change on the car, holy 6L of oil to fill batman. |
Thats normal for newer v8s, i am pretty sure chevy is the same way. Fuck i wish my truck only took that. I am like 2-3times that, damn diesels. |
yeah, I think my truck was something like 7L too. Oh well, the more oil the better. Your cummins can generally go 14,000km~ on a service interval though, so it's not that bad. |
So my poor abused raptor 660 is getting some new moccasins today. The bearclaws clean out really well and throw lots of mud but they are super heavy and 2" taller, so I am trying some X-drives or something along the line. |
Finally got the trans/t-case removed. What a whore of a fucking bitch to get it out. One heavy sob, doing it on the ground, with the truck still sitting at normal height. No jack or stands :flamemad: edit: Looking back at this, I am going to HATE putting it back in. I broke the slave hydrolic line in the process, and I never could figure out how to disconnect it. Napa/lordco/crap tire dont carry new lines so tis a dealership only part. I think I may look into switching it over to a manual clutch. The bellhousing was full of copper metal shards, this meaning that the TB is probably fucked; even tho it feels good still. The output shaft also had ALOT of play, and grinded when turned by hand. No oil ever came out... http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...0410081948.jpg |
With the new tires the quad handles better spins easier but was a lil wierd climbing in the sand with them. The dont dig as well they just spin more but i can grab another gear going up the hill due to the amount of spin :) |
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...t/DSC00379.jpg new exhaust on mystery big tubed header > 2.5 mandrel bent piping with 1 magnaflow resonator > one of a kind Ti T1R race muffler guess how loud it is >_< |
^^^ shhhit! hows the butt dyno? |
Quote:
the ear dyno is concerned about meeting sound regs. tomorrow however |
Replaced my U-Joints today with some nice Spicer greaseable ones. I had a decent vibration over 100km/h and the OE joints had just a tiny bit of play in them. |
new doors, and hood on project rusty chevy..... new box sides goin on.. this comming week / weekend.. funny what an account at a replacment body panel manufacturer can do to save you money, and make old junk look like new junk on the cheap |
