Mod of the day:

Set Base Timing
Sorta Set Idle
Installed 750CC Injectors

Took a few horus just to dial them in to idle and drive decent but atleast now I can redline at 5psi for now :) Part throttle tuning is such a bitch

proshoraca 03-26-2006 11:42 AM

Hmm modded my holding-trunk-open-sprung-rod thingy back into place as it popped out. Picked up chip today, sweet.

Mods of the season:

Took front seats/dash/door panels out of my wrecked Van, put them in my good one.

Bought some Lino, cut to size, installed into cargo area of good van (still have to move one seat over from the other van, and bolt down the seat that's in there now).

Removed steering collumn cover/Ignition asembly from both vans, installed the good ignition into good van.

Popped a battery in good van, started it up :D. Took it for a quick scoot down my alley.

Just gotta clean things up a bit, do a little trouble shooting and she should be good to go.

Also painting the bottom flat black instead of ugly green...

No, his whole wirring or setup was just finicky because he said Anthony couldn't get it to work either trying a diff way. Either way, I can't say I felt tooooo comfortable working with Emanage since in reality, it's quite primitive and well, for lack of word, sucks. All the features they add in it are somewaht useless, seems more like bells and whistles to me for what you're getting. I would ahve to take a look at the new Emanage Ultimate. See how that is.

ColinK 03-29-2006 10:05 PM

^ oh really? is that ever interesting! I always thought the emanage was pretty good (shows you how much I know about tuning and FI cars! :p)

i got a bobble-hipped hula girl...she will be on my dash for the RS meet :P

jeffh 03-30-2006 01:00 AM

broke another clutch cable, this is getting kind of gay

TDCRacing 03-30-2006 07:24 AM

Degreased my engine the other night....and then after about 8-10 kms, it began the old water in the distributor and spark plug holes sputter. Once it started sounding like anthonys car, i pulled over and parked it for a bit. When i came back, It was running well enough to get to my shop so I could drop off the new tranny. Once there and idleing, as I'm reaching in the window to turn it off I hear POW and look up to see a thick cloud rising from under my hood. Upper rad hose blew, nice 4 inch split. Had her runnin with the new hose in 45 minutes.

For some reason Nathan that does not surprise me in anyway buddy!

So my parts that have been on order for way to long are now in Canada Yay!!! But they are classified in the heavy weight category so they need a forklift and a special truck to haul then. Ahhhh you would think that a shipping company would have a forklift.

eviljeenyus 03-30-2006 10:39 AM

FYI... if your plate is improperly displayed its a higher fine then if you dont have one on at all.... ive learned that the hard way.

ya tell me about it..your better off to not have it at all.. then to be bent / cut/tucked away some where... you MIGHT get away wiht it if thats the case.. but in your window = 100% fine
