I have the same plan but pay 67 tax in. Posted via RS Mobile |
can retentions waive the "system access fee ($6.95)" from your bill ? does Fido or telus still charge this fee? |
^fwiw, newer plans don't have the SAF anymore. |
so I called retentions and got unlimited everything with 500mb for $60 plus tax, did a hardware upgrade for a galaxy s4 for $99.99 after the $50 rebate (2 years contract) They were not willing to go any lower or match fido's plan for unlimited everything and 2GB of data for $60 plus tax |
Dont think Rogers will match the old plan of Fido where unlimited everything with 2gb data for $60, as many customers have pursued that, and its been such awhile ago. I got mine when another rs member mentioned about that free 1gb if your plan is $70+, hence unlimited everything w/ 2gb for $70. But now Fido has the unlimited everything w/ 2gb for $65, so you can still try to negotiate $5 difference or more if they allow. Sometimes I wanna leave robbers and go fido... Anyone know how reception is, strong or dead areas?? My friend tells me victoria/59th has dead zones... Concern for me as my phone is needed for work... Posted via RS Mobile |

they were not willing to go any lower like $55 plus tax etc....and were not willing to match with fido also |
Dang. This 2 year contract thingy raised monthly by alot Posted via RS Mobile |
^^ Blame it on people bitching and not understanding the benefit of 3 years contracts. I mean shit, how often are people fucking switching from company to company period let alone within a 3 year contract. |
slightly better offer last night 2GB Plan /w 2 month unlimited Data and Samsung Galaxy 4 at $0.00 @$75.00/mo but I'm still pushing for something better or at least $65.00/mo which someone I know got last week with a hardware upgrade ! |

I actually switched from Rogers to Fido last year and I have noticed identical signal strength everywhere I go. I'm glad I did because Rogers plans = ass rape now. |
^^ agreed... Rogers loves to rape you lol... I havent found any dead zones yet, but I'm interested to find out where lol... One day when I finish this agreement I will definitely bounce over to fido... Really hope then there will be a good deal like that $60 plan mentioned earlier... Posted via RS Mobile |

I love to see the CRTC take revenge on the big 3 like not accepting their bid on the new 700Mhz specturm. |

currently i have the a grandfather plan. basically its the cold city fido plan. with 6gb, call display, voice mail, n 2500 txt for 60 plus tax. its time for renewal... the only downside with fido is that they dont have the phone that i want which is the note3. with that in mind.. is it worth switching over to rogers or telus for the note3 n asking retention to see if they could somewhat match my plan? or should i just keep my plan n see if they are willing to upgrade the data to lte? n just get a iphone 5s? |

so i called rogers retentions and they said i can have a plan for LTE if i switch to nexus 5 or s4, $75 or $85 (i forgot, probably $85) for 3gb of LTE with everything else included..... is it worth it? Any other company have cheaper LTE plans that i can bargain for? My 3 year contract ends in June and i tried bargaining saying I am almost done my contract and been a 3 year loyal customer etc.... but no budge |

just curious as to how ppl have been fairing with their negotiations now with these new rules that have come into play? |
just got new plan today from business retentions. $75 for unltd Canada and US calling, plus unlimited sms mms globally, cid etc and 6GB. Took no negotiations at all, Rep just offered it to me and I took it. I had a 6GB plan and a voice plan with lots of expiring bill credits before. I was worried that retentions weren't giving out good plans anymore so good to know is still possible Posted via RS Mobile |
^$75 for that plan is not cheap at all |
