was your 6gb back from the $30 promo for 6gb (lte?) |
^there's no difference now...all data plans are LTE as long as you use a compatible sim card |
Whats the difference if your account is personal vs business. I heard you get different perks and stuff. Any experiences? |
Is the government plan limited to one per account? |

I got a free LTE microsim from the Apple store a while back when my friend let me borrow his Samsung S3 to try out the faster speed |

However, when I went to the Rogers store on Davie street, the salesperson told me that I could add extra lines depending on my credit. So I went into the store the next day after switching my account and added my wife to my account. |
^ when i called the business CSR, i told them i had 2 lines to switch over to corporate plan. she just did it and never told me anything about only one line per account. the account holder has to be the person thats working for the government though if thats not obvious yet. |
I have a business account with the Super 6GB plan added CD. $58 after taxes with a $15 credit. Credits expire Dec 2013 though, anyone think I can do something with the business account? I actually got a friend to put me on a business account recently from a personal account because I did a transfer of ownership from my mom to myself since I'm paying it every month anyways |

I tried again and was offered unlimited incoming and outgoing Canada wide for $67 and 2gb of data. So ten dollars more than what I'm paying now. |
so i just got a new phone and am now trying to change my plan and am wondering what i should be aiming for, heres a background on my account I am apart of a business plan with my brother and mother and soon to be sisters phone as well. My mom started her account with rogers like 20 years ago and this is what we have $ 70 per phone 150mb unlimited local calls 1000 anywhere in canada minutes unlimited texts This plan to me compared to lots of other people who havnt had accounts as long is just terrible I was on the phone with retentions being very polite and all they were going to change is give us 1g data each and keep 70$, told them i would get back to them |
How is this plan? Rogers - $56.00 tax in. Unlimited incoming/outgoing Unlimited text messages Unlimited picture/video 1.5 GB data (LTE) VM, Caller ID, Call Forwarding, etc... |

if your plan is over $60, you qualify for an extra gig of data http://www.rogers.com/web/Rogers.por...bel=WLRS_Plans it says for plans $70 and up but mine is way lower with all the credits I've gotten promotion ends on July 22nd call 611 and ask, I received mine instantly What bothers me is that they should automatically give the update already since you are paying for the pricepoint or at least send an email |
I'm paying 65 And Rogers wouldn't budge on adding that extra gig for me I just got off the phone with 3 different csr |
So just spent 3 hours on the phone w/ Rogers Retentions 3 different agents. Finally got a plan that I liked $67/month - $20 Credit (12month) 6GB Data 200 Day time Canada Wide Min Unlimited Evening Weekend after 6pm (Canada Wide) Caller ID, Voice Mail Unlimited Text + Picture Message I was paying $60/month+20UNlimited Canada Wide +$7 for Caller ID/Voice Mail with only 1G of Data did tat for 3 years....never really cared, until last month I went over on my data and paid almost $180, so finally decided to call Retentions today to bitch |
Tried to get that 1gig free from rogers since I have a $70 plan. Spoke to a guy in consumer dept, asked my info, said I have business corporate plan... Transfer me to correct dept. Waited. A woman came on and asked me all my info, name, number, account blah blah... Told me I am eligible for 1gig free since my plan is exactly $70/month. Then she said transfer me to customer care dept to verify and confirm. Waited. Randy picks up line and asks me all the same info, replies that he knows nothing of this deal. Wants to transfer me to business/corporate again but I mentioned they sent me to you. He says, really no way, are you sure? I say yes. Could you check again in your computer? Says ok...Makes me wait to check if this is a real deal ... Makes me hold...comes back and says I need to verify what package qualifies me, I told him I was qualified already just needed your dept to register. Again says please wait for 3-5mins. Comes back and says yes you can qualify but need to see if it affects my value pack and if I need to pay any extra. My response was huh? But I said ok I'll wait again. Waited. Finally comes back says ok, you got a total of 2gig with your existing, plan stays same at $70 + tax and effective at next cycle, 8th of the month. I asked for interaction # and his name Randy for my record as proof of confirmation. Said thanks and good bye. Total minutes of this *611 call = 27 mins My plan: unlimited weekdays/weeknights, unlimited text and pics, unlimited incoming minutes from usa, full voicemail, caller ID blah blah the usual, and 2gig data for $70+tax. Wouldnt say the best deal but o well... I use to pay $93 + tax for some other package in the past. I will thanks dicecube when on computer! Cheers mate! Posted via RS Mobile |
I just called in about that extra gig of data, apparently it's just a promotion they're having on certain plans if you sign up/or are already on. Who knows.. |
I just told them I read on rogers and some forums that if customers had $70+ plan (realized I overshot afterwards when I double checked dicecube's post) we get a extra free 1gig. Asked them if I was eligible. They said they will check. Hopefully that helps someone :-) Posted via RS Mobile |
