ok i just tried the mediacoder. it converts fine but i didn't find the ipod profile u mention. i just went with mp4 container and xvid format.

now tat i have hte finish file how do i get it in to itunes? i try import file to libray and drag and drop but itunes just gives me no response

I just have a few questions, did you guys have to 'condition' your battery out of the box or you can just charge it whenever you want?

Also, for your playlists, i have lot of songs, is there a way to sort the songs in alphabetical order or group all the artists together in alphabetical order then dispaly their songs?

I find it annoying how the ipod only displays either the name of the artist or song ONLY.

I conditioned my battery out of the box. Charged it up fully, drained it once, charged it all the way up again, and charge it every once in a while now. Seems to work fine for me.

Playlists, the iPod app already has the sort orders you want. Tap the Artists tab to see them listed in alpha order, tap the Songs one to see the songs in alpha, etc.

threezero: Click on "Extensions" on the toolbar (last icon on the right), and find the iPod in there. That'll get you the correct video and audio settings for it to be played in iTunes/QuickTime/iPod/iPhone.

i hope i didnt screw up the cycle since i never charged it up fully the first time and i didnt drain it fully before i charged it a second time

Mins is successfully unlocked with 1.0.2 but I am having issues.

Phone DOESN'T ring/vibrate when it is in the locked mode. It shows I have missed calls. It only rings when I have the screen on. Anyone else have this issue/fix?

No way to know unless your battery icons have been modded...mine shows orange when it's charging and it's the default grey when it's done, so that's how I know. I'm referring to the smaller one in the top-right corner.

1.1.1 is still stumping the hackers...give them a week or two first. Apparently it's a lot harder to crack than 1.0.2, so DON'T upgrade if you have 1.0.2, and don't buy a 1.1.1 one yet...might be a waste of money. Not sure if you can downgrade though...

You're not the only one. It's Yahoo!'s weather service's fault I'm told, not the iPhone or whatever. I have the same issue and some American cities (Baltimore is one) also have the same issue. It used to work a month ago...hahah but shortly before the unlock it stopped showing the current conditions. :( It shows the current temperature and the forecast though, and Hong Kong and London work fine in Weather.

If you use the original iPhone headphones, you can answer calls. Just squeeze the white thing on your right earbud's line to answer and talk into that thing. :)

EDIT: 1.1.1 downgrade to 1.0.2 instructions released! The iPhone will still be SIM-locked, but you can use everything else (WiFi, iPod, etc.) on it.

Hmm, that's odd. Was it there before you installed any programs? I notice you have a few there. Have you tried restoring it and re-activating it?
