I can't get the damn yellow triangle on my 1.1.1 firmware phone

I press and hold power + home button but all I end up getting is a picture of a iphone usb connecter pointing towards the iTunes logo

Are you letting go of the power button after 10 seconds while still holding the home button for another 15?

only icons i see are Text, calender, photos, camera, youtube, stocks, maps., weather, clock, calculator, notes, settings, NES, sendssong, TTR, Doom

Hold the power and Home button and don't let go at all. When you see the "slide to power off" slider, use another finger to slide it while still holding on to the Power and Home buttons. After that, keep holding on to those two buttons and don't let go of it until you see the yellow triangle. Should work.

And pv604...you might have to do a full restore and start again if Google can't help you find solutions. :(

Download iBrickr to your comp for your iPhone, then in applications in iBrickr, add RSBT and Summerboard.
That would help fix your problem.

if you can't unlock the 1.1.1 you can always downgrade it to 1.0.2 and downgrade the baseband too

use this guide if you have to to downgrade to 1.0.2 and downgrade the baseband too ~ all the files you need are in there

iBrickr is awesome!

and even if the rumor for the 16gb iphone coming.. it's gonna be with fw 1.1.2 and no one knows if it's unlockable until someone actually gets their hands on it.

humm, ch28, what operation system did you use for the ibrickr ? and after the ibrickr method, did u get full functions like youtube, wifi and other regular functions?

cause i see alot of people commenting on the touchfree method, but little on ibrickr method....

iFuntastic adds some garbage to your phone. I used it before, but it wasn't very nice.

I'm running XP with SP2

Touchfree method is suppose to work but I kept on having problems with the fucking touchfree program. I tried it for two hours and without success. I tried the ibrickr method posted on the previous page and was done in 10 minutes or so.

Wifi and everything else works except for YouTube. I followed the guide but YouTube keeps giving me a "Cannot connect" error

humm, ya, with ibrickr it seem youtube will have problems....

any issues with using vista to downgrade anyone?
