so why not sign a big fat contract with the nucks, then sign a lower one with an actual contender and get the best of both worlds? i know something so far out there is a little different than what you're used to posting, which usually looks like i'm reading team 1040 on my monitor word for word, but try to bear with me. |
capitals backup goalie tonight is really the teams website cam guy. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/2008/12/12/Ott-Wash-0/ |
^^ too bad he didnt see any action, would have been a dream come true |
If sundin goes to NY he will probably only ask for 2 or 3 mil. I doubt he'll force them to blow up their team. |

Going to the game tonight. I sure hope they give a good effort tonight unlike in Calgary a couple weeks ago. Should be a great game. Edmonton has such a fast style of play, its fun watching the Canucks when they play the same style of game and its back and forth! GO CANUCKS! |

Although I don't think money is first and foremost on Sundins mind I don't think he's going to sign for 2-3 million with the Rangers. I'm sure he'd take a discount to go there but I doubt it would be less then 5-6. I can't see the trade rumors that maybe the Nucks would trade for Gomez coming true. The Nucks aren't going to help the Rangers land Sundin. They'll have to trade Rozsival or Redden but good luck with that both are over paid and then they'd get weaker on the back end. They might be able to trade Gomez or Drury somewhere else but then like said above that will effect there team dynamics and there makeup. If the Rangers really want him they can make it happen. Doing so however will mess up what they have going on right now for sure. I don't know where he'll end up but I think you have to give the Rangers the edge just because it seems like it would be a good place for him to play. I really can't see him going to Montreal or Chicago so it's a 2 team race unless there's another team that's off the radar that swoops in and snags him. That wouldn't really surprise me since this whole thing has been so weird and drawn out from the onset. |
Wow, the Wild lost again. |
Fucking snoozefest. |
Brutal first period aside from Hordi vs Stortini. |
i missed the beginning of the game ... but i've noticed myself not paying attention AT ALL for the rest of the first period ... |
Seems to me that Oilers are already protecting the one goal lead and are in shut down mode. |

Playing like sh!t and taking dumb penalties. Looks like another loss tonight. |
Gee, Canucks look like poo tonight. |
Fuckin stupid defensive game, and the ref's need to put the whistles away. |
holy shit bieksa got SMOKED |
wow that was horrible |
Sanford cant make a save if his life depended on it. |
Piss poor fucking effort by the Canucks tonight. Good luck tomorrow night because they'll need it. |
Terrible game to watch. Terrible ice. Puck keeps bouncing. Refs completely destroying any chance for flow in this game. Sanford is not playing well. I cringe every time the Oilers shoot the puck. No energy or enthusiasm from the Canucks. Awful awful fucking game. I hope it snows a lot tonight as I need something to cheer me up. Kev |
