I was looking up Gaborik's playoff stats and as I was scrolling down, I saw his team was listed as the Vancouver Canucks, I was like WTF!? :haha:

If TSN or NHL.com doesnt say it first, don't believe the rest.

this is retarded to even talk about, but....ovechkin has a 13 year contract. we'd have to pay him what he signed for. bure was taken advantage of by being offered canadian dollars when he first signed. when he smartened up, he held out.

Kovalchuk's a good impact player but without knowing how he will do playing in the west, and he's pretty much unproven in playoff since he only has 4 games experience, hard to say if he will fit in with Canucks.

Why are you guys even talking about Ovechkin. Washington would rather trade the entire team before letting him go. And considering Ovechkin's attitude, he'll enjoy playing hockey whether if Washington tanks to last place or becomes the best team in the league. So he's not gonna demand a trade anytime soon.

Emery made the smart decision to go to Russia for the season. No team was interested in him and he gets paid and gets to stay in shape. Hopefully a team will pick him up the following season.

point being? how does that compare to the rest of the team with playoff experience?? luongo never had any either, everyone didn't know how he was gonna hold the pressure. kovulchuk is a superstar. he isn't you typically run of the mill player. he's always near the top of the scoring list every year. he's a gamebreaker. something this team desperately needs. lets say he only scores 30 goals in the west, but 18 of those goals are GWG or an equalizer. would you have the same tune?
