How do I complain to samsung?

Do they even care?

They don't care. As well stores aren't obligated to sell it if you're not an existing customer either. Costco is your best bet now as everyone who's gone has successfully bought it outright.

For the cfroot kernel? You're supposed to use one with a matching version or as close to it as possible.

It was KG2 so i used the one closest to that

For those that missed the $499 price error from The Source...London Drugs has a Virgin Mobile version for $499 on month to month if you can find a store that carries it.

London Drugs

krazynuck 07-26-2011 08:41 PM

twitchyzero 07-26-2011 09:53 PM

670 is 599 with taxes. That price hasn't changed for buying it outright. The $499 is some virgin deal but its month to month and doesn't state any other details on what other requirements there are.

!Yaminashi 07-26-2011 10:08 PM

give it a few weeks and the price will drop down to around $500 ish

WholeWheat 07-26-2011 10:26 PM

just got one from london drugs for 500 but they're running out pretty fast so better get on it soon

What requirements were there?
Did you sign up and cancel?

RFlush 07-26-2011 10:36 PM

Is there anyway to merge the call log to display only one of the numbers and then click it to view the history of that certain number? Something similar to the Blackberry? An app would be ok as well.

Just want it so I don't have to see 5 John Doe names in a row, rather just see 1, then click it then see that I called him or he called me 4 other times.

:fuckthatshit: Im exaggerating, but the price WILL drop.
Every phone is expensive upon release, then the price drops, then stabilizes

Apparently they're selling it outright with no restrictions according to what I read on rfd. I'm gonna stop by the LD by my house after work tomorrow and try to buy one for the heck of it.

For the bell/virgin branded ones. Are there any logos on the outside of the phone? What about the startup boot?

YES good thing i didnt buy this phone outright now gonna wait for qwerty version :D
tops of thickness would only be as thick as an omnia hd if not thinner so i wouldnt mind

krazynuck 07-27-2011 08:31 AM

ok I have to say that I love this phone

only thing that is screwing with me now is that my captivate had the SAMSUNG logo and usb spot on the bottom and SII has it on the top....picking up the phone up-side-down makes me look like an idiot

!Yaminashi 07-27-2011 08:59 AM

Anyone experiencing the yellow tint issue or pink blur in captured photos?

JordanLee 07-27-2011 09:20 AM

I can confirm Kingsway, Coquitlam Center, and Lougheed have atleast 1 instock as of 9:30 AM. Killer price for an outright purchase.
