You do know that muscle gains are a by-product of strength gains right bmwx1?

J.C 03-26-2013 06:28 PM

i dont use my fail button often in here, but when i do
and you dont need to look shredded to be strong
im a random skinny asian kid lifting more then a big percentage of the people in the gym
ive met a skinny asian kid who looks like he doesnt lift who DL's 3x bw

red_sir 03-26-2013 06:35 PM

Lol thanks guys, but bmwx1 is right. Our builds are pretty much identical, except my head is bigger. I have no right to question him. I will shut up now, I don't want to get scolded again. :okay:

is350 03-26-2013 06:38 PM

lol all you bunch of people backing him up don't cut it. Why can't you guys back it up with pictures? Lifting heavy ass weight is only one part of the equation. More like a bunch of chinese guys backing up your friend, and a fat ass in this thread.

Damn it! Did not want to be singled out as a fat ass! :okay:

Why are you so butt hurt? If you want I can post another pic of my calves for you, followed by my belly. :fullofwin: Will this help you jerk off tonight?

Fcukedd 03-26-2013 06:46 PM

You talk quite a lot about building muscle for someone who doesn't have much of an impressive physique.

Here is Randy Yee who competed in the national recently? Are you telling that skinny people like you can lift heavy ass weight like that? Look how ripped he is.
Look at you guys doing bench press dropping the weights so quickly onto your chest thinking you can compete with the NFL lol @ that. The only person that had good form and what I consider as a successful attempt was fcukked. Randy placed 2nd and deadlifted 545 pounds in the nationals, are you telling you guys can deadlift 500 pounds? Maybe you guys should compete if you are that strong.

You can come to SFU gym and lift. Nvm I crossfit and I lift with 25 pounders. Excuse me.

btw I have to say your back looks impressive, but after looking at you from the front, you look quite small and skinny.

Does he make you happy?

If you were here long enough you would know that I did go pro (CFL) and I did my reps exactly the same way as I did in the video and no one was butt hurt by it.

Post Smolov Base - 1RM - YouTube

Red_sir squatting way below parallel.

Lol you call that below parallel. ok. whether I shut up or not, it's none of your business, you guys started it so I'm here all the way. Don't tell me how to train calves, that's one damn thing I know how to build. Just because he's been here longer, doesn't mean he has been training more than I have. And it doesn't mean I'm less knowledgeable if I don't lift. And comparing lifting beer/biceps curl vs walking and calves is different in all kinds of ways. Lifting beer is only 500g, your calve support your whole body while walking. How is that even relevant?

hal0g0dv2 03-26-2013 07:26 PM

tom platz had the greatest legs ever and did high rep squats 7 days a week
Someone call tom platz and Tell him to go back in time and never do high reps for legs
Bmwx1 I can't believe I took the time to read your posts

Maybe it's time for a reality check for you guys. I have respect for everyone on here. But if you gonna make a joke out of something that isn't even funny, and touch on a topic that you don't even know, expect the consequences.

hal0g0dv2 03-26-2013 07:30 PM

I was going to right a massive post but i think we get the point

Like I've said over and over again, I'm not big, but definitely not small and skinny.

But like you said, back yourself up with pictures and here I will. You also told me to take a front picture a while ago.

Spoiler!

And I don't see the correlation between being ripped and strong? Have you seen powerlifters?

Halo, you don't even lift, your calves are small, and your spelling is horrible.

Lol! Me too man, but we don't want to scare him off. I honestly find his posts entertaining so I would be sad if he left us.
