Hey guys. Just picked a Marcy pm-3200 stacked home gym thing. Right now at local Costco's they are marked down to $199.97 Richmond Costco still had a bunch left

Strength - Marcy® PM3200 Platinum Home Gym 150lb Stack - Floor Models Only - Elite Fitness

Nothing fancy, but if you're a beginner, or maybe don't have time for the gym or whatever you're excuse is, this would be a great addition for a budget home gym

getting a power rack and some free weights wouldn't cost much more, or take that much space either. Much more versatile too imo. I think my rack is around 4x4 feet, and was only around $300.

Damn that's cheap enough to justify a second gym membership just for a change of scenery from time to time.

Yeah. Sometimes I'll drop in to random gyms just to feed my ego!!!!!!

No idea, my contract expired and just defaulted to month to month for that price, and they said that's just the plan I am on.

Any chance you guys can critique my work out schedule? I'm wanting to change it up for the spring. Feel free to let me know if anything is redundant, or if you think i should add certain exercises on specific days. I plan to do my big workouts at night, but would like to do a light workout at home before Work. So don't be afraid to toss suggestions.

Spoiler!

youre making the classic beginner mistake of doing too many exercises for a single body part

youll get more results focusing on 2-4 big lifts

Berzerker 03-13-2014 09:30 AM

I disagree. That looks exactly like my splits right now. Almost to a T. I'm on the sauce though so that is going to factor into things.

I also work arms 3 times per week trying to catch them up to my huge back and chest ;) lol

Should also be noted I'm purely focused on bodybuilding am not concerned with strength at all.

hal0g0dv2 03-13-2014 10:48 AM

huge back and chest need pics

Do you guys think there's a difference between a diet induced deficit and a cardio induced deficit? (as long as you hit all of your macros of course)

In terms of body composition no, but dieting wont increase your cardiovascular endurance.

320icar 03-15-2014 02:22 PM

Uhh. It doesn't matte what you do. If you injest less calories in a day then you burn, you will lose weight. But if you are trying to lose weight, don't just diet obviously. Diet AND exercise.
