Fuckk. Brutal weekend of packing, then moving on Sunday. Then unpacking. Then movin all my gf's stuff on Monday. Almost no sleep and no food other than McDonald's and pizza. My body gave up and now i got the flu :(.

Good news though, it was two solid days of stiff leg DL's and calf raises of lifting stuff. Shouldn't have to do legs for another 2-3 months

dude legs every day, only way to get shredded

and aint nothing wrong with crossfit, dont hate it cuz its trendy to hate on crossfit. i guarantee alot of crossfitters would crush the RSers on here in most athletic competitions

320icar 03-26-2014 12:15 PM

None of us are arguing that a proper crossfit regime is a fantastic way to build strength and conditioning.

What we ARE hating on are pictures like the one above. We are here to get fit, not break our spines and become paraplegics.

Also this is great for lulz. Injuries - CrossFit Discussion Board

Yes, let's compare an olympic medal attempt with someone doing overhead pistol squats on top of a kettle bell. Happens all the time right! ;)

That's cause most of the RSers in here don't even lift.

Sure, I agree. In the sports I was active in though I was being trained and coached by people with months or years of education in such subjects as kinesiology, nutrition and rehabilitation. Many crossfit boxes are led by people certified with a weekend course involving such subjects as marketing, kipping, broscience and marketing.

yea this is true of the person training industry as a whole, just pop into ur nearest steve nash and have a laugh @ the personal trainers there

Berzerker 03-27-2014 08:05 AM

Don't get me started on personal trainers. Since I live in a small town there is only 1 trainer. Carla. Fucking bitch has all these people walking around with clip boards doing the stupidest shit every fucking day. There are these 2 women that come in and do cardio every day. One day I hear them talking about how they aren't seeing any results. I explain to them they need to start actually lifting weights as that burns more calories and is far superior to just cardio. A week later I see them with Carla and she has them doing fucking pelvic thrusts on a bosu ball. I just about lost my shit.

320icar 03-27-2014 08:08 AM

Maybe you should show them better form on their pelvic thrusts :p

instantneedles 03-27-2014 02:18 PM

Taking it out on carla, when really your problem is being jelly of the bosu ball.
