the max I've ever done was 185 for one, and to be completely honest, for the time I focused on ohp I haven't seen as much of a carryover to bench as I would have liked. I really dgaf though cus it's not like I compete in strongman. I've found that doing seated has worked much better for me.. can't say they same for anyone else maybe cus when I'm doing OHP, the thought running through my mind is to just move the weight upwards, whereas for seated, I can actually feel my shoulders working as I'm going through the exercise. one interesting observation, is that I notice a pretty strong carryover from squatting to OHP, and no surprise there because both require a fair deal of core strength |

brb tendonitis in right elbro. behind the point. took 2 weeks off of all pushing and started doing more legs. knees buggering up now too. hate fall weather change and hard work. aware me bros: will doing pulls (pull downs/chins/rows) aggravate the tendon? should i chop my arm off? is steroids my only solution? i turn 30 next week should i just die now or can i still rock a misc tank and party with jeff seid's hair? |
