I currently have that pain on the top of the knee cap as well, don't know if it's tendonitis or not this time. It lingers around until you let it rest and recover.

Olympic Lifting at Sport Central?

Hey guys,

First time posting. Was curious if anyone could tell me how the barbells at sport central are for olympic lifting? eg. make, spin, whip etc.

i'm more of an o-lifter and recently got a job near that area and was considering lifting out of there so was curious if anyone could let me know if their barbells are conducive to olympic lifting.

Thanks in advance.

ive actually had patella femoral pain before, i think its more below the knee cap? i just stretched and squatted light and it healed like several months later lol... it was super annoying and pretty painful though and a pretty common injury

ive been getting that too, i think its just inflammation around the knee and a lack of blood supply to that area. im thinking of getting these to help after every squat session. DR COOL 3"x 25" COOLING RECOVERY WRAP - BLACK -- Trainers Choice

i don't do ice recovery treatments often if at all, but that looks like a pretty practical object for post-workout lol

have you heard good things about it? it looks like it will get coverage for all around the joint which an ice pack can't do.

although seeing pics of people exercising with a cool pack around their knee :heckno:

and another note, i actually pretty much fixed my quad pain above the knee. i just focused on really stretching out my hips and quads and not taking time off from squatting...its weird how squatting causes and fixes injuries

Anyone know where to get Romaleos locally? Or are they overpriced..

PS: Do they fit true to size? Comparable to the Nike Frees in terms of width/length?

TouringTeg 10-23-2014 03:35 PM

Getting closer to the end of 2013. My goal is to hit 4 plate DL. Did 375lb lift this week. Come on 405lb!

Fitness town. They fit wider feet. Wider than the frees.
