JD my back day looks like this. Start off with Deads if it's dead day. Then do Smith Machine rows, followed with DB rows end with 1 arm cable rows. That's the first back day. I tend to do 5 sets of Deads and it takes me awhile so my hour runs out quick on dead day. On the 2nd back day I do Pull Ups as many as I can do then 5 negatives after each set for 5 sets. I've been seeing great progress doing this. Followed by the Row machine, then some cable pull downs with varying grip depending on how my lats feel. First back day for thick 2nd back day for wide. Berz out. |

i separate DLs and squarts by 3-4 days. squarts tuesday on chest/leg day. , DL fri on back/shoulder day. i also DL near the end of my day so everything is warmed up |

Sumo deadlifts take most of the emphasis off your back and onto your legs. You can pull more weight doing sumos than regular deadlifts. I incorporate them into my workout once in a while when my regular deadlifts are stuck. Doing rack pulls and sumo deadlifts will strengthen your regular deadlifts like crazy (well at least for me) |

I've had my shins bruised the fuck up after doing deadlifts. Depending on the bar, it can really scrape off the skin as you drag it against your shins. Not a surprise he bled. |
