I've lost some strength on my deadlift but 1.5 months ago I was able to lift 600lbs with belt+chalk. I usually do reps of 550lbs with no belt. I'm 200lbs btw.

Is it okay to get the bar 1-2 inches off your chest for bench?
or does it have to touch the chest?

Jer3 01-08-2012 10:04 PM

weighted chins are amazing. strapped on 55lbs today for 6 reps at 5 sets at the end of my workout. the pump is unreal.

if u can touch the bar to your chest then do it, if it hurts ur shoulders then dont, but warm up ur rotator cuffs before starting, most people that are below 5'8 or so can touch their chest relatively easily with the bar so it shouldnt be a problem for you.

Who here uses the blender bottle?

Fcukedd 01-08-2012 10:45 PM

For the past 2 weeks, been eating 4000+ calories a day (normally get in 2700-3000)... forcing myself to eat right now. Feels like I'm going to puke soon :megusta: :heckno:

chin3se604 01-08-2012 10:59 PM

they rock, and are worth every penny
when i use a normal cup i layer the protein and the milk so nothing gets stuck to the bottom

with the blender i just dump everything in and shake away

kevin7352 01-08-2012 11:21 PM

It's a really good bottle. Hard to find bottles that don't spill or leak. I think GNC and stuff have replicas of the blender bottle but the lids feel so dam cheap

Having trouble keeping it up with it though. Never ate so much in my life :drunk:

I go to Mexico .. I come back and hal0's exposed?!? WTF
What pisses me off is that I actually believed that type of physique was attainable naturally. I feel so gullible :alone:
Anyways! I've been partying my ass off for the last 2 weeks. Lifts are down 20%, and I'm down nearly 10 lbs (165) yet I feel fatter than ever.

Made some new years resolutions: no weed or cigs, 405 squat & deadlift for reps... Currently 2 sets of 2 at 315

I need some opinions on this, some guy at my gym has this, and wears it his whole workout [ Fitness Avenue ]
I want to buy it for weighted chins + dips, but I've been told if i walk around in it too much I'll put a ridiculous amount of strain on my back + joints. Could it be useful or should I just stick with a weight-belt.

I also cant help but feel like fiddy cent wannabe with it on

i touch my chest lol and im 6'6 ..so you can imagine the pain :P i do stretch my ass off though (not literally) before i work out so i dont injure anything.

SkinnyPupp 01-09-2012 01:01 AM

Full range DB press feels good man :megusta: especially since it doesn't remove your whole upper back from the lift, and gives you useful strength (ie punching power :fuckyea:.)
