Going from 5x5 to 10x10 on squats with 80% of my 1rm (225) This week im on 7x7. Through my last few sets i was thinking what if revscene is watching,or shit that made me mad. on my last rep of it all i said "fuck you" and repped the bitch.:facepalm: |

Okay well everyone seems to be less shy and posting up pics; thought I would do so myself. I'm no 200lb+ beast like some of ya'll but I can lift decent weight. Sitting at 150lbs at the moment @ 5'8". I cut down some major weight in the pass couple months from 160lbs. Leaned out quite a bit with the new programs I've been cycling. My main focus is strength than mass/bulk. Current 1RMs: 275lbs - Bench 365lbs - Deadlift 185lbs - Squat (Decided to drop some major weight to focus on technique; Fucked my knee up from not doing so) Current stack: Creatine, Whey, BCAA's, and ZMA. how to improve the initial part of a deadlift? aka from ground to just past knees really struggling to increase weight cuz of that part, fine with locking tho cuz rack pulls helped that alot |

My friend brought me to Steve Nash on Lougheed for an 8 day pass. After lying to the salesman :troll:, I taught my friend to do his first deadlifts and corrected his squat form/depth. I felt as if I was being watched by a lot of people for some reason. Is it uncommon in that type of gym to dead lift anything over 3 plates or squat anything over 2 plates ATG? (At Gold's no one gives a shit if I deadlift or squat) After squatting over 2 plates ATG some guy comes up to me to shake my hand and say that most people in this gym don't know how to squat properly. Different atmosphere, shitty parking. |
