totally had the "RS is watching" feeling today after I said I hoped to hit 2 plates, but..:okay: 215 x 1. The bar was slipping from my hands and I think my form wasn't very pretty. I should slow it down before it's goodnight sweet spine. RS workout thread accountability is the ultimate motivation hahaha

225x8 - then got an exertional headache sigh. That cut my sess short. Was gonna press but couldn't do it

Btw, are the amounts you can dbpress/bench relatively the same?
So if I do 65lbs, technically I should be able to bench around a plate?

^ can't speak for others but mine differs a bit. my barbell is a bit weaker than my db. not by extreme amounts tho.

Like neggo said, it will vary for each person. When my 3RM was 165lb, I did 65s for 6-8.

Currently, I can rep 165lb for over 15 reps...although I can only do 8-12 with 80lb dumbbells.

yea it varies, i do 165 for 3-4 and can do around 75-80 for flat, 65-70 incline

Blkgsr, how long have you been doing 5x5? Because I've been doing it since mid October and my legs are decent.

Started feb 1 after 2 years away from the gym and almost never dong legs before, they are starting to grow and are much firmer now

officially had my worst workout yet..
after i did 200lbs on squat, and 2 sets of bench on 120lbs, i felt so light headed.
so i took a little break and rested, when i got back and set up for some light dead lifts, i got the worst cramp i ever had out of nowhere on my right calf and i was sitting in the middle of the gym like a dumbass for 5 whole minutes lol.
now im walking with a limp, it hurts so much haha, ill probably won't be going the gym on friday
i learned my lesson to take my time and strech every muscle =(

For some reason, my left rear delt was giving out, and building up a lot of lactic acid during my bench press. Benched low weight today, feelsbadman :okay:
