I get almost the same thing, except I get 200 minutes, my10 and unlimited evenings and weekends for $43. However, I'm on a corporate plan, so yours is pretty amazing if it isn't corporate too!

Ive had the plan for about 2 Yrs now. My brother usually does the negotiating for me, and always ends up getting something for free. We both have the same plan he even pays 2 bux less than me.

I know some people got it for $45 but I still have 2 years left on my contract.

They also offered 50% reduction on my early cancellation and an iPhone 5 for full price, comes to $406 after taxes. I said :fuckthatshit: since this would renew my plan for 3 years.

is 1 gb of data enough...
see if you can get 2 gb of data. when i had my old plan with 1gb of data i called and asked if i can change it for 2gb and they said yes right away with no extra charges.

They wouldn't budge, probably because theres still 2 years left.

u can do a lot better. i had just under 3 years left on my contract, since i renewed contract to HUP to the iphone 5 in sept, but rogers gave me this.

I would call retentions just to see what they will offer you.

So far I have called three times and they keep offering me the same prepackaged plans for the same price as what my wife is paying now.
If you look in this thread you will find those plans mentioned.
If they offer me something worth taking, I am going to see if I can do it without extending my wife's or my contract.

I'm currently looking for a phone upgrade and new contract in march when s4 coming out. How likely do you guys think I'll be able get new contract at that time (7months remaining) with hardware upgrade fee waived along with better contract. They are pretty stiff with waiving fees. I've been with rogers for 4yrs now.

how the fuck do u guys get these plans... my dads been with rogers since rogers was called cantel and i have been with them since 04/05? i feel like im getting jipped by these fuckers.

It's all luck to be honest. I called two different times the same day back in December and I was offered two totally different things. It just depends on the agent you get.

With that being said, it's always better to have a promo plan from another carrier to refer to when you call in.

call retention, a rogers store will give you retail plans only. after you negotiate a plan that you like, you can go to a rogers store to pick up a phone.

Yeah my plan is old. What I did was basically just add 6gig data to my existing plan which was around $20. Then I cut the GRF.... but forgot to bargain for unlimited incoming. Oh well, I've never gone over my minutes before.

Anyways, if they charge you for a $35 activation fee, they'll say that theres no way in hell they can waive it. What you do is ask them to credit you (instead of waiving) the same amount... which they can do.
