I think they told me its $50.
Should be the one on the bell website:200min,500mb data, unlimited evening n weekend starting from 6, unlimited text.
I went for the share plan because they gave me $100 credit for switching to bell.

This guy called Lucas was helping me at parker place and he said he will give me free case and screen protector once they are out for the nexus.

I'm waiting for CM9 to be released before I unlock...I'm missing some features of CM already :(

Pretty much the reason they gave up USB mass storage for MTP:
No wasted space between apps and storage (one unified storage)
Ext3 is much faster than fat32
Simplified file management for users

Downsides:
well you know them all

Okay quick question. When you drag down the notification bar and you notice you have multiple emails. Is there an app or fix that makes it so I can see all the emails/texts instead of "5 new emails" or "2 new messages". I'd much rather it be messier and tell me who in each notification.

so what's the cheapest way to pick one up right now other than using the following:

Virgin $20 month to month + buy outright
Craigslist

I've heard that with a 3 year activation, the costco wireless booth will give you a $150 cash coupon for costco(useful for me) as well as drop the contract price to $80 for the phone.
What are the early termination fees for bell? (i've searched far and wide... but can't find a solid $$$ figure)

I'm pretty sure Bell's cancellation fees are really high. $200-$250 for the data cancellation. $20 x the amount of months left on your contract which can equal upwards to $700. ( I THINK )

galaxy nexus

Well professor, thanks for the heads up!

dasani604 12-11-2011 03:21 PM

Played with one from Bell at Pacific Centre. God damn it's nice and fast.

Big issue for me is that I know once CM9 becomes stable and OC kernels are developed, my captivate will perform perfectly fine for what I need :okay:

Which means, it's back to waiting for the next Google phone which will hopefully impress us at it's release with the same level of want as the Google releases prior to the Nexus S.

^ I need GPS... so yeah... though my vibrant does have a good working GPS.... it's a hit and miss. If it wants to work, it works.

jmvdesign 12-11-2011 05:19 PM

Played with one as well. I don't know how anyone would choose an Iphone4 over this.

but really, camera, apps, speed...or they just don't have gorilla hands? Sure having a big screen is nice, but shuffling the phone around when you only have one hand is risky business.

Thats what hand gestures and shortcuts are for!
I never thought of this on my SGS2, but just swiping down on the screen pulls down my notification bar. GENIUS

That was one of the core features of android phones to begin with! Only recently emulated by iOS

Don't worry I'm not making fun of you (well maybe I kinda am) I'm used to it though I used to teach people how to use their smartphones as a job :fullofwin:

He means the ability to swipe down anywhere on the screen not just at the top where the notification bar is. Enabled by using a different launcher app.

CP.AR 12-12-2011 05:31 PM

CP.AR 12-13-2011 01:20 PM

You can buy Galaxy Nexus outright (without 30 day contract) at Bell in Lansdowne 649.99+ tax
