SGS2 worked super well with syncing and the Nexus is great with syncing high resolution photos (manually only.) But I haven't been able to get a sync of contacts+Facebook together yet, only separate and it's useless having 2 contacts in your address book, one for Facebook one for Contact.

Problem with haxsync is that it syncs all your contacts. Even ones that aren't in your phonebook.

Yup. Bought it online. I found the quality really good. The finish better than casemate. However not everyone is going to like it due to the minimal side protection. This is the hard case if you want the least bulk.

btw. The casemate doesn't fit the GSM. It's meant for the LTE. I have it lying around now.

Dunno how they would. They probably had something trapped between the case and the phone. The inside is lined with soft touch as well there's the leather pad.

All depends how much protection you want.

I think what i'll do is use the wet protector on the body and a dry protector on the screen - that way the screen is clear /smooth without that rubbery feel.

I used the full face one because my case doesn't cover any of the screen except the thin bezel at the top and bottom.

Finally unlocked/rooted/CWMed my GN today and installed Manhattan + Franco kernel. But I've noticed Google Wallet keeps force closing on me (not that I can even use it.) Tried deleting it in the apps settings but to no avail. Any one else have the problem?

Well, sold my sgs2 and got a Nexus yesterday :)

Anyone else notice that if you turn the screen off while downloading something in the background the wifi speed seems to throttle down A LOT? i queued about 5 apps to download from the market and switched off my screen to save battery. Five mins later it was STILL downloading the first app...
Never had this problem with the sgs2

drained my battery two times yesterday and today after 13hour workday phone went down to only 83%. that's 3g+ music, youtube, lots of browsing. so far this phone's got the best battery life out of all the phones i've had

how do i prove? my htc sensation was on 33hrs average life span and this nexus beats it. maybe you're using different settings. I only rooted and CWM mine, everything else stock, plus not every phone/battery is the same. Drained it completely two times wait for it to die and charge, Auto brightness on. Battery will die faster if there is no reception at my work but today laster way longer than yseterday. Yesterday's was down to around 48% same use.

Dude you need to show us a print screen of this so-called "33 hour battery" that you have on this phone. If you manage to prove that you're getting 33+ hours on your phone...I will buy it from you...I will give you above market price for it. $700 cash.

it shows 6 secs on battery uptime now only..maybe my battery holds longer life or something. Mine was from overseas. It goes down to 48% if there is no reception sometimes so i guess depends where you are too? im with fido. I can test again tmrw n take screenshot or whatever. The guy sold it to me sealed 540, the crap thing was that it only had the foreign power plug
