I hate it when people refer to sumo deadlifts as deadlifts.

Sumo = EZ Mode

Excelsis 01-15-2012 03:45 PM

easy for lightweight, harder for heavy because it puts more pressure on knees

that's why you never see someone doing 700lb sumo deadlifts

Awesome - The feeling is damn euphoric when you hit an additional plate. nice

Nothing but rainbows :nyan:

Gerbs 01-15-2012 07:51 PM

I have a question,

when you deadlift, on the way down are you suppose to bend your knees after the bar is under the knee or do u bend down as you go down?

Excelsis 01-15-2012 07:55 PM

Depends on your height, whatever feels comfortable for you

For some reason I've always found the sumo deadlift to be harder.

After coming back to the gym from a months break :badpokerface:
I've been getting this really painful head migraine like there's a heart beat in my head but its pounding on my brain, it only comes when i push myself for that extra rep. AND NO its not because i'm not breathing properly because i was.
Just wondering if anyone else gets this because i got it when i first started working out just not this bad

Excelsis 01-15-2012 08:53 PM

Benefit6o4 01-15-2012 09:20 PM

Hips go back first, then bend when the bar is around the knees.
