I think motivation is lacking for a lot of people because they've worked so hard for the last 6 months, and this should be peak season of the summer, and the weather is dogshit. It's been warm enough for me to wear shorts outside ONCE let alone be at the beach or out doing other activities. It's a serious drain on my motivation that's for sure. It's like we've put in all this work for nothing. Fuck Vancouver. I'm bailing and going to Portugal for the summer, so I'm trying to stay focused until I go because I'm sure I won't be hitting the gym every day once I'm there. |

Smashed the gym today, new prs in all compound movements in both weight and reps, after a day of work too! Feels fucking awesome. Weird how my best days are always after work on a sunday with no food before it. I finally understand the importance of a workout journal. I'm able to see past weeks progress, and there lies the motivation everytime i hit the weights, and i can see what works or doesn't too. Was always doing linear progression, 5x5 style so i never used one, but the LN program made me write things down. :thumbsup: Thanks for the ZMA btw Jsilver :). Good day today, yay for holiday |

Would you recommend leangains for a bulk? From what i understand you have that 16 hr fasting period and an 8 hr eating period. I imagine that if you can burn (2-3000+) calories in 16 hrs and eat 4000+ calories you can build muscle while losing fat at the same time. Agree/disagree? |
