My iphone 5 was sounding funny yesterday when calling my wife on her 5. I'm on Rogers, so maybe they were having some network issues. Our phones have always been clear and yesterday was the first time I noticed anything. Posted via RS Mobile |

'iPhone 5 fever' sweeps Hong Kong as mainland China awaits Apple's launch Quote:

bwahahaha last time I was in HK, they were launching the ipad2. Massive line ups at all the fortress/broadway stores... |
My battery was dropping fast cause my standby time and usage time was almost identical even though I never touched the phone for most of the day. I go to sleep with 90% and when I wake up it's 35%. The battery would fully drain in about 11-12 hours. When I first got the phone I restored it right out of the box with itunes as a new phone too. So I drained the battery and charged it to 100% but left it plugged in for another 5 hours after it reached 100%. I did this 4 times and now I'm getting this which is a lot better than before. http://i45.tinypic.com/adm7bm.png |

The type of aluminum Apple uses for the device, which helps make it so thin and light, means it’s easy to damage, and iPhone 5s are being scraped before they’ve even left the factory. 700 dollar phone, only 4" screen, not the best hardware in the market, and poor quality :fullofwin: |
You guys who did a hardware upgrade via Rogers without any early upgrade fee, what was your total cost? Posted via RS Mobile |

It's like laughing at a nice sport cars and saying "it's so expensive but not even as big as a van!" Also apple has proven the benefits of in-house control over hardware and software. They don't have the best hardware specs yet the phone runs faster and smoother than the s3 Posted via RS Mobile |
4" is the limit, even this phone is feeling a bit large in my hand and i have fairly big hands i notice because i have to stretch my thumb when holding it in one hand to reach the upper portion of the screen any bigger wouldnt work. |

I am using a 4" Meizu Quad. My fat fingers make it hard to click on a browser, that's why I prefer a bigger screen. |
Samsungs making a 4" version of the S3 for Europe, doubt it'll make it's way over here though...but yeah I think 4 inches for a phone is plenty, would have been nice if apple slimmed the bezel down though so the phone wasn't so long. Posted via RS Mobile |
^why europe only?? I'd consider it if it was a high-powered android phone. I love me my 4". That sounded wrong... |
^ I just read it on Engadget, Samsung feels there is a market for it there. Anyways they are announcing it tomorrow in Germany, who knows if its a success maybe it will make it here. Posted via RS Mobile |
4" is not bad. It is definitely seems like more of a sweet spot than 3.5" was. It's definitely the best iPhone to date. Posted via RS Mobile |
