No, I think it means that Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC ("SCEA") is now running it's online service through Sony Network Entertainment America Inc. ("SNEA"). This means you have to sign a new terms of service and if you do not wish too, SNEA will return any balance you had in your wallet and close your online account.

Anyone know a fix for cinavia with the new firmwire? For those who don't know cinavia is a audio matching program that detects audio streams of downloaded movies and makes them unwatchable. Before patch 5.6 you could split your audio channels and fix it but no luck now :(

Sony releases a new official statement, and it's more of the same.

Today, the PlayStation Blog released a new statement (perhaps the briefest one yet) about the PlayStation Network outage. Written by the Senior Director of Corporate Communications and Social Media Patrick Seybold, the statement in its entirety says:

"I know you all want to know exactly when the services will be restored. At this time, I can't give you an exact date, as it will likely be at least a few more days. We're terribly sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work through this process."

If Seybold's "a few more days" statement holds true, PlayStation 3 gamers can hope for the PSN's return before this coming weekend. The operative word being hope.

Yep, just keep on trying though. It took me a while to navigate with all the errors, but managed to download them.

To find the vouchers just go to account management -> transaction management -> service list. The SCEA promotions list should be there.

Its encoded into the audio, so its not as easy as disconnecting it from the internet.

summer's usually a slower season for good games...I suggest checking out mass effect 2...as a playstation guy i never got a chance to play it...i'm only a few missions in but I can see why it's critically acclaimed to be the best of the best this generation (up there with Bioshock, Red Dead, Uncharted, HL2). The big bonus is that the ps version using Mass Effect 3 engine apparently

Most of the time you have to convert mkv with mkv2vob. With the Cinavia stuff, I'm pretty close to just buying a media box. Save time and file space.

You can use a powerline but it won't be cheap.

monoprice has good prices on cables. at least for 15' and under. it sounds like you're running cable but check it out.

I just bought the turtle beach px21 last Saturday. I love it. It got a different setting for The game and chat volume. Voice is pretty clear. The bad thing is that The cable is too long. Or you can try the new Sony wireless headset. Same price.

I have a problem with my ps3
When i start up a game, it kicks me out and says
"theres an error with the trophies, the game will be exited" or something like that.
According to everyone on google, the only way to fix this is if i delete the ps3 account (not my PSN) and delete my saved games.
Is this the only way? If it is, can i back up my saved games onto a usb, then transfer them to a new account?

After I finish Skate 2 its Batman time then I'm off to Metal Gear Solid HD Collections. I hope there are trophies in that game as I'll unlock all of those within a few days. I love MGS so much! Awesome game series!

Rage - completed 75% trophies on first go through....I found the game to be very entertaining, not overly hard and a nice mix of Doom and Fallout

i ended up getting the CE at futureshop~ just coz i got like 40bux giftcards at futureshop to spend ~ the collector edition is actually not too bad ~ i already have AA so the deal is meh for me.. but great for ppl that haven't played AA.. i'll probably have an extra copy of the CE IF the online futureshop will ship me my preorder even though they say it's out of stock now -.-

Yea, the cover is pretty sweet, there two redeemable codes. One to play as Catwomen and the other for some beta game. I haven't played Arkham City yet as I'm currently trying to fully complete Arkham Asylum.

If you already the first Batman just buy it anyways and go trade it in at EB Games or something. Game sells for like 29 everywhere else but I'm sure trade in value is like 2 cents to those EB bastards. No offense to anyone who works there :)

I can't platinum Batman: Arkham Asylum. The henchmen and two titan dudes before the very last fight with Joker is too hard on a hard difficulty level. Those henchmen kill me. I suck at combos. It's not like God of War where you can smash and dodge everything. Batman is too slow or I just suck too much. I'm leaning more towards my shitty skills.
