You just need to tell WMP to monitor folders where you keep your media files.

You can use WMP, but tversity or nero's media server software work better at buffering. tversity is free and can be found with a quick google search.

Word of warning. It's best to have your desktop and ps3 hardwired for streaming. buffering (especially large folders and large files) takes time and bandwidth, and using either the 54g on your ps3 or desktop would greatly reduce speed and performance. personally i only stream small files like audio now, since streaming my video files took forever (since i turn off my computer every night, and the software has to "refresh" at startup).

Yeah I got a friend to look for it for me in Japan. I wished there was more import street racing games from Japan but it looks like there's only the Wangan Midnight which I heard sucked and Initial D where I've only read some mixed reviews.

tbh... i think initial D is a shitty port... but i dunno why, i can't put it down once i start playing it lol, the game play is fun but the game is just too poorly made. long load times and lack of stuff that differs from arcade and console, at least the PS2 version was more original and the crippled asian version that didn't have online play.

the rubberband AI sucks big times too, no matter how far ahead you are, the computer can catch up to u. but the computer will only speed up in certain points of the track. and i have no idea why a STI takes like 9 seconds from 0-100km/h....

i wish they made maximum tune 3 for PS3/360 with online play. even a complete direct port with no additional would be great and could take advantage of the PSN/xbox live network.

Did you make a new User in the XMB? I think PSN IDs need to be tied to a new User in order to work. Make a new User and when it asks you to Register your PSN id or w/e just select use an existing account.

I recently changed my email so I created a new psn account under my new email. However when I try logging in on my ps3 it tells me that I can't log in under someone elses email. Was I suppose to change something on my ps3?

It's extremely fun if you appreciate and like hockey. Otherwise it's just another sports game.

The added control that was given to players in NHL 09 really immerses you in the game, giving you as much control as you'd want in a game. :thumbsup:

try collecting all the light seeds, the game is easy but getting all 900 light seeds is fun. I like fighting the bosses and pulling out those big combo's too.

get the Socom bundle if u still can.. at least u get a game with it.. and with the new firmware update for Socom released last week, the game is much more playable now.. its not bad of a game..

socom is alright,,, its worth getting it now since they released a huge update 1.30 which basically improved the whole game by a lot. If you like 3rd person shooter games then this one shouldn't be any problem. I have to say, this game is really a team based game to win. A lot of game have said that but socom is one of the games that really depends on team work. If you like team based games then this ones for you.

Street Fighter tip of the day:

Vega's "moon-kick" move (similar to Guile) can hit a total of 3 times! when the opponent jumps in, do the moon-kick and quickly charge again. when you land, you can do it again for a 3rd hit before the opponent lands.

PS - you can do this with DeeJay's "moon-kick" as well ;)

If anyone is using the PS3 to stream media from their PC, an awesome function i found yesterday with java PS3 Media Server (http://ps3mediaserver.blogspot.com/)

If you have a movie in your videos directory on your pc, with say for example the filename boon dock saints.avi. You can download the dvd cover from google, and save it in the videos directory as boon dock saints.avi.cover.jpg.

Then from the PS3 xmb, as your scrolling through your movies from the PC, you can have the DVD Covers show up beside all your "backups". Pretty wicked feature.

I need suggestions for subfolder organization on the PS3:

I have files organized on my external HDD so that it's

Ex:

Video > TV Series > Lost > Season 3> LostS0303.

it doesnt detect anything after the TV series folder. I hit Triangle and 'Display All' isn't even there.



Yet under Video > Movies > Batman Begins, the movie file works.

So the backwards PS3 that we overglorify seems like it doesnt like reading files that's under more than ONE subfolder.

Both video format are supported by the PS3.

its not bad, i don't like how you can't run and gun
also the inventory system could be better

otherwise its not bad, and it looks amazing

agreed. i havent tried coop or online but no run and gun = fail

Different code for every customer, finished the demo in less than 10 mins. If you want a code, make a new PSN account and select UK for country.
