If I were a parent, trying to negotiate a separate line for my children and a family-plan is not an option (because I don't want to give up my retentions plan) I don't understand why they wouldn't be willing to extend something like that to customers. Yes, it is another number, but the person paying the bill is the same, which means it's the same customer. If you let one person move on, it becomes more difficult to retain that customer in the future again.

I guess I don't always understand corporate logic.

It a different "case" because of ARPU (average revenue per user, or the amount of money they get from each customer).

learned it from here: http://www.revscene.net/forums/65789...an-launch.html

Rogers is to Fido as Best Buy is to Futureshop

Chatr is to Rogers as Koodo is to Telus

Hope you see the difference.

Is this actually possible? Cuz if it is, brb switching to fido. pick up a phone. 1 yr later switch back to rogers pick up a phone..

I've never heard of that before?!? Is this even possible??!!

Rogers reception was so unstable yesterday

Alatar 11-21-2011 10:10 PM

I ported out over a week ago from Rogers.

I just got two texts today from Rogers about this new "find my phone" service.

:fuckthatshit:

BaoTurbo 11-21-2011 10:14 PM

They said I have to sign a 3 year contract when I added data. I agreed at that point, but now I think about it, why the hell do I have to re-sign? I don't get anything out of it, that tard was just screwing with me. I was so busy lately I always forget to call them back to complain about that and the service as well after I added data

shenmecar 11-22-2011 10:26 AM

You have to sign a 3 year commitment for data that's separate from your voice plan.

So I need to have data for 3 years

That's how it usually works.

Get data, get tagged.

You're like that kid in class who all the other kids cheat off of.

You're fed up with it but do nothing about it.

The way I see it, you have two options:

1. Keep being a little bitch that constantly complains but does nothing about it

2. Stop being that little bitch and say enough is enough and switch

I'm tired of reading your "woe is me" posts that accomplish nothing but make you out to be Roger's little bitch.

CRS is hilarious. Mobilicity is perfect if you are :alone: but if you've got a life, you more then likely need a reliable mobile provider that can provide good coverage.

Yea. An aunt just switched. She said it's cheap but people need to call several times but she's fine cuz she doesn't use it. Lot

This is why i'm with wind. The middle of Stanley park and the Skytrain basements are the only places I have any kind of reception problems, and that's only 'cause I leave Mt phone on 3g only. If I really needed/wanted my phone to be working fulltime, I'd enable 2g for wind away. Even with away calling, I'd still be miles ahead of where I was getting raped with Rogers

for $6/month + freedom to switch carriers whenever i damn well please, i don't mind not having reception here and there

rogers/bell/telus is only worth it if you need reception 100% 24/7

whats the point of having a cell phone if it doesn't have any reception?

You're fooling yourself if you think mobi is so bad that there isn't any reception.

99% of time, I have no issues with reception and I've been with mobi for 2 months now going on 3.

Perhaps you should try out mobi and get a half decent cellphone and then get back to us.

I'm not fooling myself. there is no coverage in the area i live in nor is there any coverage in south surrey/white rock where i end up spending a lot of time as well..

Perhaps because white rock isn't at all advertised as being a coverage area?

Teh Doucher 11-23-2011 11:12 PM

there you go. see you're learning.

Please do the world a favour and chop off whatever reproductive organ you have so that you can't reproduce.

I don't think you understand that Mobi is an alternative for people in Vancouver and it's surrounding municipalities.

Also realize that the VAST MAJORITY of people do not hang out in South Surrey and White Rock.
