Depends on which fw you're running right now.

I made the jump from 1.0.2 to 1.1.3 but most of the programs at the time didn't work on 1.1.3 so I downgraded to 1.1.2. The upgrade was well worth it because the battery life improved by a lot and that to me is worth it.

both facebook.com and the iphone version of fb i get booted out.. i guess ill just update it again to 1.1.4 and redo everything

has anyone tried using ziphone 2.5c to update to 1.1.4 from 1.1.3?

If you want it to be clean and quick, you need to do a full reflash, not just an upgrade. I found that out too when I upgraded to 1.1.4 in iTunes and unlocked it, it was kinda wonky and wouldn't let me sync it to iTunes. I then did a DFU restore of 1.1.4, wiped everything, but everything works perfect now.

That one is ballin', but the crystal bit is way too fragile for my taste. I like my el-ghetto eBay case, I think it as under $15 shipped, and it's rubberized polycarbonate so it's a tough mofo and won't fly out of your hands.

AND it comes in camouflage...hahaha

I though about checking ebay. The case i got off ebay scratched the hell out of the back of my ipod nano, so i didn't want anything like that to happen to the iphone.

Mine is also sold as the Cellet case. My black one is generic, but my red one is branded with Cellet and has an extra clip in the corner to make it more secure.

is anyone running 1.1.3 with Customize and summerboard? i remember reading somehwere that those programs didn't work for 1.1.3. can someone confirm.. i'm currently running 1.1.2 and not sure if its worth upgrading to 1.1.3 or even 1.1.4 yet.. anyone have first hand experience?

and i cant get it to sync with my phone

also wen i throw my sim inside i cant get my contacts from my sim

^ you have to add contacts through contacts in windows and sync it through itunes

you can also use isim. download it thorugh installer...

im planning on buying an iphone soon, i was checking out cragslist and i was wondering is there is any appearent difference between the iphone and those iphone clone? i dont' want to get ripped off. thanks

You can just buy it in the store, no activation needed. You might get hit by Customs though. :p If you want to buy it from them, now is the time, before they update the firmware again! :p
