anyone using 1.1.3 yet? I've got it with a stealthsim and it works great except the GPS works 50/50

I'll have it soon, but it'll be software unlocked as I'm doing the hacked upgrade method. ;)

The GPS is not a GPS at all, so don't expect any miracles. This might help though:

Part of firmware 1.1.1 and above. It's the double-tap-the-Home-button shortcut.

i've upgraded to 1.1.3 and lost all ringtones, stock ones still show, but don't even play!

Which method did you use to upgrade to 1.1.3? The Nate one or the Dev Team one?

OEM iPhone headphones modified w/ the earbuds from an old pair of Sony MDR-EX51's I had lying around. Sound is MUCH much better now and it's nice to have some noise isolation again. By doing this I can still retain the use of the microphone :)

jing, NICE mod! and nice wallpaper...it looks awfully familiar... ;)It's good, but it's not for everyone. Really comes down to what you value in a mobile device. If you really like your media and like having WiFi, then there's no better machine than the iPhone. As a phone, there are a thousand better alternatives. Same deal with smartphones.

I used Nate, got some custom ones though, easy workaround.

use itunes 7.4
convert the song you want into ACC, remove from library.
rename the file to .m4r and drop it into ringtunes. upload, easy peezy.

Upload = using SSH or SFTP (WinSCP/Fugu)

I think it's unlocked if you upgrade to it with the upgrade hacks, but I would hold off for a little while yet...

i was wondering im planing to downgrade and activate my iphone with the tut from iphoneincanada.com and it say it might brick if it does am i pretty much out of luck ? lol

maybe someone with more experience can answer this, but even if you brick the phone you can always restore it. the worst you can do you mess with the baseband.

just upgraded to 1.1.3 everything went smoothly

just sucks no summerboard or customize....oh well just have to wait a couple weeks

as long as you upgrade from 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 unlocked + jailbroken. it will work fine.

i got a otb 1.1.2 i just cant get it into recovery mode =/ i been pressing the power+menu button like it tells me
