how come when i go to installer it says" refresh failed could not refresh sources" why ?

anyone had trouble getting updates from the Installer?!?

I don't receive any updates or new programs from installer laterly, don't know what happened?!?

i check if there is a update for installer every few days. i checked yesterday and there was a new update (im on 1.1.2 by the way)

By default it brings you to the Phone Favorites when you're not playing music and when you are, it pops up a little media remote for you to change songs, volume, etc. You can set it to a few different options instead of those too, and with one of those apps floating around, you can set it to launch whatever you want.
Like others have said, there has been an Installer update. There are MILLIONS of iPhone users out there now (nooooo too many!), so all of them hitting Nullsoft's server at the same time could do this.

i think my friend screwed it up because he was playing around with it...he did something like jailbreak! i don't even know what that is...is that why it's not working properly ?

Jailbreak is sketchy for 1.1.2 phones at the moment, I think...so maybe that could be it. 1.1.1 is the most usable and updated version at the moment, as far as I know.

One way is to fine an Installer source that has NES ROMs in it and installing it there like any other program...or the "normal" way, using SFTP and copying ROMs into /var/root/Media/ROMs/NES

I upgraded my phone this morning from 1.0.2 all the way to 1.1.2 firmware

which is basically what dton13 posted up back on page 26 but a little more in depth to upgrade my phone safely to 1.1.2

i basically can never plug my iphone into my computer again. i lost everything on my computer and had to get a new hard drive. so if i plug in my phone and sync again..i'll lose all my contacts, mp3, pics and current videos!

DAMN IPHONE

Go into iTunes and and under the "Summary" tab of your iPhone there should be an "Options" area with two boxes. "Automatically sync when this iPhone is connected" - make sure that box ISN'T CHECKED.

Go into the "Info" tab and make sure only the "Sync contacts" box is checked. Go to the bottom where it says "Advanced" and make sure none of those boxes are checked because once you check those, iTunes will replace the info on your phone with the info on your comp.

I always have my stuff synced at least once a week so let somebody else verify this before you attempt to do it. I don't want you coming over to my house tonight with a knife saying I lost all your contacts http://smiliesftw.com/x/kekekegay.gif

I don't know how to help you save your songs but at least this way you won't lose your contacts.

Another solution would be to go into Installer and download the iSim app and manually save each contact from your phone to your sim card. iPhone contacts don't save onto your sim. It'll take a long time but at least you'll still have your contacts when you're done :p
