Anyone know how to fix input lag without rooting to 4.0.4 |

Nope... Radio is stock |
had this phone for a 2.5 months now there's only been 1 OTA update directly from Google (yakju build) isn't that pretty darn slow? I thought one of the selling points was constant updates good search indicate the rollout may start today: Android 4.0.4 ICS rolling out for Nexus S, Xoom, and Galaxy Nexus | Android Community Android 4.0.4 pushed into the Android Open-Source Project, awaits full release | The Verge |
What ROM and kernel do you guys recommend? Installing for a friend. |
Most here run AOKP. It's fast and smooth and they work hard to iron out most bugs before they release every version for the Galaxy Nexus. I am running Slim ICS which has very similar functions to AOKP except they take stuff out here and there to make the file only 69MB compared to other ROMs which are like 200-300mb. I haven't ran into any bugs so far with Slim ICS so it is definitely recommended. |

What about the kernel? Any recommended ones? He just got his Galaxy Nexus off WIND, so I have no idea what's on it. |
Yeah I've heard good things about b28 being very stable. I was on milestone 4 myself but it started lagging for some reason that's why I switched. |
Stock kernel is fine? |
I'm on Android Revolution 2.1.5 with Faux's kernel. Been too lazy to swap. |
reception is still shit. =/ which radio is everyone using? |
Currently have the otterbox commuter and as great as the protection is, can't even fit the darn thing in my pockets. Looking for a nice slim case, preferably aluminium for that nice "finish" . The ones I've seen go for $32+ .. |
AOKP Build 29 is out! I'm going to be flashing it later. Will report back in a few days. http://rootzwiki.com/topic/21662-bui...og-404-merged/ |
