I recall that also you get those errors after wipe if you have a custom rom (with you doing the wipe through the Settings menu).

when i bought the phone, its already like that :( i tried hard reset to wipe the data but still the same

That's probably wrong. The Galaxy Nexus already has a super amoled hd screen. I doubt they'd get that wrong. As well there's gonna be around 5 different manufacturers that will be releasing a nexus device this yeah. So far probably LG, Samsung, and Sony.

would be best of both worlds if Nokia made a Nexus phone

kwy 08-22-2012 09:00 PM

I don't know. Nokia has fallen from relevance in the past few years. Samsung is pretty much the king of Android phones and does its job very well. And LG is shit.

With their WP corporate alliance, they're more likely to go bankrupt than build an Android phone.

Yea, you're right on the Super amoled.

Well we have two of nexus devices already:
1. Nexus 7 -> Asus
2. Nexus Q -> Google

I would end up getting the next Samsung Nexus, unless there's a motorola one.
Definitely not buying Sony. They support AOSP, but still release "new" phones with gingerbread?

All the LG phones are a little lame. They cheap out on their screen quality.

!MiKrofT 08-22-2012 10:41 PM

A Motorola Nexus would be interesting. The hardware hasn't been that bad but the locking of bootloaders and such is.

I still remember when Nokia symbian phones were all the rage.
Its too bad Nokia will probably never make an android phone. Their call quality is unmatched. :okay:

LG makes the screens for iphones...and shit tons of IPS for computer monitors

fact is all screens seem will seem to have their share of problems...but I'd take IPS over SAMOLED if i had a choice.

hongy 08-25-2012 02:27 PM

Leaving AOKP, too many times where I would miss calls because phone becomes unresponsive, and screen brightness jumping from 20% to 100%.

I have no problems with LG screens.
The issue is the few LG phones I've come across have such horrible screens. They cut costs on their own devices.

I just sold my galaxy s2 hd lte and am now in the market for a G Nexus. does anyone have one for sale?

Or does anyone know the predicted release date of the next nexus?

Graeme S 08-30-2012 05:24 PM

Check BS/CL for ones on sale.

Nextus will most likely be announced early Oct, available in the states by end november, and here by February. Like it usually goes.

kevin7352 08-30-2012 05:33 PM

What's BS? :s

Pull down your notifications and you'll notice it says the keyboard you're using, and allows you to change it if you want.

It's very useful. Especially when you're in chrome and get gibberish from swiftkey on a text field. Switch to the stock KB and you're good.

Armind 09-10-2012 08:14 AM

Awaiting for the new GN to come out. :okay:

You can turn it off in input/language settings. Sorry not on AOSP can't tell you the exact name but it's called display IME on notfication bar or something.
