Try using your hips instead of the knees when it gets heavy. When it gets so heavy that you're using your legs, the exercise has probably lost its usefulness as a row, and becomes something else. |

Shit, I really do have weak shoulders... You start and can do 90, time to hit mine 2x a week hard, needs some catching up to do Posted via RS Mobile |
wow 90lbs overhead press is pretty substantial for someone new. especially considering where your other strengths are at |
Guys, serious question. Can anyone fill me in? I've recently started getting curious about bulking and then gaining some more muscle...all this time, because I was overweight, I've always put a huge amount of focus on the losing size and getting leaner part of fitness. But how would I go about in trying to gain a little more muscle + mass? I currently do forms of intense cardio about 4 times a week and I also lift about 4 times a week. As of now, I am currently at around 180lbs. If I were to commit to this, what would I have to do? I do not want to exclude any of the cardio I've been doing, as I would like to keep my level of fitness the same. Hypothetically, would all I have to do is lift heavier + eat more? And, perhaps, only lift on the days I haven't trained yet so I could push harder? Then, once I reach a proper size, cut and diet? I've always been quite confident in the losing weight part but I don't really know what to do in this case...I'd like to commit but there is the fear of the unknown :okay: |
what weight do you want to reach? |

Felt so fucking weak today. Bailed out on 5th rep of squat @ "2 plates" per side. Let it go on the crash bar :okay: Continued with a 20+15kg on each side and finished up.. That was weaksauce :okay: |

Back workout yesterday...after 8hrs of sleep, I still feel like death. Rest day today...thank goodness. |

my squats are terrible because i have chicken legs to the max...i've never really worked them out at all, i've been on and off working my upper body for a few years but really never my legs. the best i got on my legs was like 5 plates each side on the leg press for 4 sets of 10 kind of thing after squats last night i'm happy to say that while alittle sore, my legs are no where near how sore they were last week...just might actually be able to do squats again tomorrow night lol i'm still having a hard time getting the proper deadlight form down. how much pushing is there from the legs? is deadlight a leg exercise? for some reason i have it in my head that it's more upper body but being taller i find i need to really get low to not have to bend my back down at a sever angle |
