For the deadlift don't increase weight too quickly or that's how you get injured. For me I started with 225lbs on deadlift which was my bodyweight at the time @alpha - false. Sumostyle deadlifts are pretty much like squats. They concentrate most on the hammy, glutes, and quads then the lower back Posted via RS Mobile |
referring to conventional never did sumo i realized today there's probably nothing harder on this earth than trying to beyond failure for leg exercises, they burn so hard but you can still keep going |

what do you guys wear for shoes for squats and deadlifts? just barefoot? i can feel the "squish" in my runners and the slight movement of my feet in the shoes |

Nice vid situation. Def don't push too hard trying to make big advances on dead lift. I don't want to hear about anyone getting hurt. I DL with just socks on. My gym is ok with it they just told me to be careful that someone doesn't drop a plate on my toe. jc95: I am past 225 squat otherwise I would. I want 3 plate squat. A trainer at my gym stepped up and did 4 plate on Saturday. He was saying he has done 5 plate and DL 5 plate plus a 25 on each side. I believe him. I've seen him bench 3 plate no problem. |
