this morning i weighed in at 162 lb, 275 isn't truely my 1RM, i could be doing more. but using 275 as my 1RM puts me at 1.69x my bodyweight. suck it bitch :fullofwin:

RRxtar 09-19-2012 05:46 PM

Meowjin 09-19-2012 06:30 PM

on Red SIR's suggestion I widened my grip on my bench. Was able to bench 5x5 my old bench numbers. That was fucking fast.

honestly i'm either not lifting enough that I think I can or my body is stupid and can just lift x amount more each week.

hal0g0dv2 09-19-2012 08:06 PM

Don't care unless it's 4 plates

Jk I care

Fffffff learned that my deadlift suffered most from cutting my thumb open :( could only do 305 1x3 today because I can't grip very well. Down from 315 1x5 two weeks ago.

Guess I have to spend time getting my power cleans up instead

Neomop 09-19-2012 10:49 PM

power clean 1RM 135 today....been lifting for 5 months and went from 125 to 145 bw :fuckyea:

I do a lot of explosive work though (goalie in ice hockey) so I love doing power cleans

BinsentoW 09-19-2012 11:26 PM

I did a 335 after this, but didn't get it filmed.
also tried 300X1 bench. Failed :(

I think meowjin had his pinkies a couple inches inside the rings, I suggested moving out to pinkies on the rings.

BrRsn 09-20-2012 12:01 AM

Decent chest day today. Fuck I have lost so much strength, flat bench feels like the most foreign thing to me, almost crushed myself with 135. Feelsbadman :okay:

Incline is down as well but not as bad. Its so hard to drag yourself to the gym when you're basically back at square one

Ankle is elevated. Good for Olympic lifts and squats. I definitely would not use these for deadlifts. Chucks are my fav for deadlifting.
Some people don't even walk in their oly shoes. Just go up to the platform, change, then lift, then change out.

ohhh really shit, i was doing curls in them and chest brah day. jk some skinny fags in my gym use them for a normal gym workout and they walk around all weird fucking idiots

lowside67 09-20-2012 06:32 AM

Oh geez guys. Today was the first time I actually wrote down and paid attention to what I could actually do when on my workout this morning. EMBARRASSING! My upper body needs some serious attention. My lower body is a bit better as the cycling over the years has helped with that.

Not going to post any upper body stuff as it's even embarrassing to have it on my iPhone, but for leg press went 5-3-3 at 297lbs and then 2 at 344lbs. For squats went 5-3-3 at 230lbs and 2 at 250lbs. Hopefully can improve this weekend when I go next.

Edit - I am 150lbs and 5'6.

Thanks for the help.

Mark
