Was talking with a guy at the Oval who has been helping me with my form on the big lifts (mostly deadlifts and powercleans) since I started working out and he said most people usually deadlift 100 lb more than they squat. Mine difference is only about 30 lbs. Not sure which one is lacking :badpokerface:

I'm also a skinny boned Asian guy. But I've made it work. You can't put mental restrictions on what you think you can or can't do, if that makes sense. I bench more than most of my white buddies, who are all 6 feet-ish, 160-200+. I'm way shorter and lighter than them, but I can DB press more than what I weigh by a fair margin.

And with proper training, rest, nutrition, you will grow bigger than all your friends.
Bone size is not everything.

With proper training, your bones will get thicker, your muscle fivers tear and rebuild to get thicker and bigger, and your satellite cells produce more muscle fibers.

I will post some progress pics when i get the chance.

On another note, encountered your typical anti-deadlift faggot at the gym today. Was testing 1RM for 4 plate deadlift today, i got it up half way off the ground and that son of a bitch started barking at me from across the gym, ran over and started kicking my barbell, and i couldnt finish my rep. I think i mite have even tore a back muscle cus he totally thrust me forward.

He then comes up to me and tells me "ur distracting blah blah, then tells me to quiet down. Told me not to drop my weights when im doing a deadlift and to bring it down as slow as i can. ".

Me being the well-mannered guy i was, told him that i was doing a deadlift, and if he had any idea what a deadlift was, it creates noise.

He then proceeds to fingering me and then goes back to his cable bicep curls. People need to grow up sometimes. Next time i encounter another one of these fghots at the gym, im just gonna straight up ignore them and keep lifting. They can stand there and look stupid for telling a guy to deadlift quietly

that's some messed up shit he literally kicked your weights as you were in the middle of a lift, that's not just weird, you could have gotten really injured....

this guy sounds like a faggot in super saiyan faggot mode, that's not normal at all someone to kick your weight while you're in the middle of a rep, I just can't get over that

.. on a side note, did good mornings with 3 plates today ... by accident :fuckthatshit: Middle of a squat, think to myself "I'm not gonna get up his is fucking heavy" ... and of course, mind controls everything so I didn't get back up.. :facepalm: ended up doing a half squat half good morning with 3 plates. Fuuaa.

nothing that extreme ever happened at my gym yet, just the occasional "try to lower it down more gently" most people are really friendly at my gym
our gym even got these pads now that we can drop it on and it reduces a lot of the noise :badpokerface:

I'm a mellow, passive guy; it's not worthwhile for me to expend energy getting upset over something minor and insignificant in the grand scheme of things....

a lot of times i feel hungry, but i have no appetite. fuckin sucks. i wanna enjoy my meal AND get those calories in, but the only way is to force my food down. i've bought some weightgainer shakes but those things drain $$ fast
not trying to sound like a big shot, but i'm actually stronger than most of my friends, even though i'm like 40lbs lighter than they are. so i'm content with that
it's just that i wanna be bigger & taller... it sucks being the short guy 'cause chicks don't dig that haha. we'll see where my genetics take me lol

try having a protein shake after every meal ( 2 scoops with milk) 4 times a day, youll get big. it is hard, but i went from 125 to 160 at 5'7. eat mcdoubles too, trust me that shit helps

You need to put in as much work in the kitchen as you do in the gym. You looked pretty good in the progress pic you posted a few months ago (pause). You're still young too, keep it up
