I thought the point of these shoes were to deadlift in them. It feels better than other shoe I've used thats for sure and I dont really like deadlifting barefoot especially at shitcentral where you can catch aids.

update:

deadlift 445 for 4 reps
deadlift 1RM - will update next week
bench 2 plates for 8 reps

left knee keeps on swelling up so I haven't really went that heavy for squats. did a light 5x5 today with 275lbs.

body weight is at 175lbs, body fat should be around 9%, 6ft tall

finally changed over to low bar for squat
record is as goes

squat : 255lbs
deadlift: 365lbs
bench : 225lbs

gotta work on my deadlifts lol

when dling you wanna drive thru the ground with your heels, so with the sole + slight elevation it makes it slightly more difficult to do so.

if you got a pair of chucks or vans, they will probably work better

sad week boys. Was doing step up with dumbbells and ended up falling backwards. ankle is busted. Gonna be takin a week off :(

My lifts are almost exactly the same @ 180lb

squat: 250lb x 5/3/2/1
deadlift: 365lb x 1
bench: 225lb x 3

Have only done flat bench with 100lb db's x 5 once with a spot. Going to attempt again tonight.

Had a small PR at OHP today, 135x5, 155x5, 185x5, 205x3 and 205x3 (for the last 3 weeks I was stuck at 205x1 as my last set).

I will try to move to 225x1 next OHP day. I love that feeling when you think that you are ready to add some weight at the next workout!

Started fresh this time with flat DB press.

101.5lbx9 with ease woot

Didn't try going higher because I didn't have a spotter, but I think I could have done 110lbs for 3-4.

:fuckthatshit: The weights at SC are so strange.

I really like the fat grips on their dumbbells though. I think they are the reason why my barbell bench has increased and overall grip strength.
