can anyone help me!?! i just got a iphone 1.1.2 and i turbosimed it. I just cant get wifi to work. The guy who installed my turbosim showed me that it could go online safari and youtube.

But when I brought it home to test on my own network it didnt work. It also didnt work at aberdeen wifi or blenz or at my frds house. any ideas?

Did the guy who installed it use EDGE instead of WiFi?

The only way for them to be unlocked is with a TurboSIM--but good luck finding one, as they are totally OOS which has driven up their price around the world.

The next best thing is the StealthSIM, which is the same but it cannot be reprogrammed like the TurboSIM. However, it is much cheaper at $95...this is the cheapest price online!

same thing happened to me when i bought my iphone home... i opened up all ports and firewall settings and crap with my router.

my iphone had full access to the internet + it was being detected connecting to my router/internet

yet.. it dident work.. i dont know how but it started working magically a day or two after ;P

i see they selling 1112 iphones unlocked on ebay....i guess they are unlockable now?

to my knowledge, the only proven unlock method for 1.1.2 is through the Turbo sim method. they take you sim card, cut it up or something and attach it to a piggyback sim that tricks the iPhone into thinking you're on AT&T.

Reset, no, re-flash the firmware, no only if yours was unlocked with anySIM 1.1 and above.
