has anyone here updated from 1.1.1 > 1.1.2? i see that theres a new thing on modmyifone that lets you upgrade to 1.1.2 if your on 1.1.1

Anyone know a fix for the 4 hour ahead SMS bug? I upgraded from 1.11 to 1.12 took me forever cause I kept messing up steps but it worked. Not really a major performance differance besides the fact my iPhone stops crashing to Springboard now.

for mp3 ringtones, what specs should i create the mp3 ?

all my tones when played on the phone sound like they have too much treble.

i use audacity and change the high bass filter to like 250 =)

i've been on 1.1.2 since last week. best upgrade ever. 1.1.1 was a fuckIng buggy bitch. after a week i couldnt stand it

1.1.2 is great, custom ringtones, less crashing. not sure if its more table than 1.0.2 though

i'll find details later to upgrade. it literally takes 5 minutes, a breeze

1. Run Oktoprep via Installer

2. Update to 1.1.2 via iTunes, after update leave iPhone connected till iTunes "see it" then close iTunes.

3. Jailbreak (http://conceitedsoftware.com/iphone/1.1.2-jailbreak.zip)
3.a Install BSD Subsystem via Installer

4. In Installer add rep.frenchiphone.com to your installer source and then Install anySIM 1.2.1u from the installer. Reboot iPhone!

5. Put the iPhone in Airplane Mode!!! Run AnySIM1.2.1u! After its completed, go to Settings--->Airplane Mode set to OFF, now u will get a signal bars!

remember this only works on a phone running 1.1.1 unlocked with anySim.

What do you mean by 1.1.1 being buggy? I've had no problems.

for me it crashed a lot. Everytime I unlocked the phone it would freeze occasionally. The double-tap function would not work sometimes and I even had times when my phone froze in the middle of receiving a call so it just kept ringing without stopping (I have voicemail) until I did a reset. Just general stuff like that, maybe it was just me. But it annoyed me a lot so 1.1.2 is a lot better IMO

Version 1.0.2 is the most stable so far.
