anyone know if there is a unlock solution for the new version??

the new update for gpsphone is dope! fullscreen gameplay and the buttons are transparent.. and most of the games i played that were hella laggy before are somewhat-less laggy now

I think that's week 47, so it's 1.1.2. Which means that you can't unlock it. You can jailbreak it though. www.howardforums.com or www.modmyifone.com and look around. It's very very well documented.

This rumoured new update might not be the light at the end of the tunnel we OTB 1.1.2 owners are looking for. From what i can gather online, there is no major problem in the current baseband (the SMS problem is fixed) and the only serious problem in 1.1.2 is the bad callerid matching that causes the iphone and sms apps to crash when uses with SIM cards from non-official countries. This is not a baseband problem at all.

So even if Apple releases a interim fix for this problem as 1.1.3 soon, I doubt it will have a new baseband. Knowing the damage it can cause to the unlocking business, Apple will release new baseband only when absolutely necessary. With no new baseband updates, there probably won't have the new secpack included which is needed by the unlocking community to unlock 1.1.2's.

btw kardboard, how u liking ur ebay case? i've drop mine a few times now. It creaks but it protect my fone except for one scatch (just so other dunt make the same dumb mistake, dunt use a metal ruler to pry open the case = =)

but its kind of melting???? on the bottom and a little scuff up. did u get any new cases that looks as nice???

Love my cases, haven't dropped them yet, but have dropped stuff on it...haha Still no scratches, and it's not melting. O.o; I haven't bought any more cases.

also i see that your red one has this little clip thingie. when i was searching for a black rubberized one just like yours it dident say anything else was included.

Got mine off of eBay. Both my black and red cases have the clip, but you don't have to attach it if you don't want to (like me).

From the maker of GPsPhone comes psx4iPhone, a Playstation emulator for iPhone. Its not quite a release yet, but zodttd, the developer, says a release could be only a few days away.

Uh...I'm not entirely sure the hardware can properly handle that if there isn't even an SNES one yet...but we'll see.

it'll be cool if they can SOMEHOW make a remote control for you to plug into your iphone to play snes,ps etc.
