Need help, so I've had my galaxy s2 with Bell for a few months now, its rooted and unlocked and it was fine for maybe the first month. Lately, I have been getting no signal anywhere, and it goes to the "unregistered simcard" mode a lot. Its quite annoying because I don't get signal at home or work anymore. |

my bad lol i mean without turning display on and off.. some sort of light. |
^^ I think Bigbaddie is talking about an app like noLED or something like that, where if you get a msg/call theres a light on the screen to notify the user. |
BLN is the best but requires a kernel that supports it. It lights up the softkeys for notifications. |
siyah supports it no? |
I have bln. Its a good app. If ur kernal supports it then it should say on the site u downloaded it from Posted via RS Mobile |

I have the free version of bln, but it only seems to work for gmail. Tried tinkering with the options but there are none. |
I don't want the Nexus. Happy with the s2 Posted via RS Mobile |

I'm sure those who grabbed the Nexus will end up picking up the S3 as well...I know I will be. Also, not to say I told ya so, but no ICS on the SGS2 still? Many people in this thread thought it would be ported over by December and officially released in January at the latest...Neither of those things have happened. |
Well...I've been running cm9 for the past month. I know, not official release and not complete yet, but it's pretty much 95% of the 'aosp ics experience'. Only gripes are still no youtube/video playback and no camcorder mode still until kernel sources released. I have played extensively with my gf's Galaxy Nexus, and I will say that it IS a better phone than the sgs2 when using both side-by-side. Overall, I think it's worth it to switch. Now, somebody buy my sgs2 :p |
