i did a full wipe and installed v6 then ics domination

I don't see full wipes as being a bad thing every now and then. I notice after a month or two my battery life starts going downhill. And that's usually around the same time a worthy new rom comes out. So full wipe it is with a re evaluation of what apps and shit I actually need on my phone.

Anyone having problems with gmail linking to their phone? When I go to "accounts and sync"
I have a little notification "!" at the bottom of my screen that says "sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly."

Is this a problem with Google?

Anyone using Checkrom v6 and have a problem getting Odin to recognize the phone?
I was going to experiment this weekend with the ICS leaked releases but found that Odin wouldn't see my phone in download mode. If I kick it out of download mode and into regular phone mode and connect it via USB, Odin sees the phone so I figure the problem isn't with the cable or physical hardware on the phone.

It's completely bugging the hell out of me why Odin doesn't see the phone. Anyone encountered something similar and have some ideas?

Yeah i noticed that too.. Didn't think it was the rom at first but now that I think about it, it probably is

anyone use hyperdroid?

Looking for some help.. sometimes when i reset my phone, it gets to loading my apps, sd card, etc and then just turns black. Need to pull out battery and stuff to fix it.

I used Kitchen pro to flash NEAK Kernel

Might it be because my phone is bricked?

Any help?

What rom, etc were you on before?

I was running Checkrom V6 and Siyah no problem.

Flashed NEAK, then everything began to fuck up. Reset problems.. would load stuff then screen goes black and dies.

Managed to turn on and flash redpill. it seems to be okay... I was checking out Speedmod, but it doesn't support BLN

I don't think I would like to give up my Adobe Flash for the update

But still tempted to do so tomorrow

does anybody have the USB Jig for resetting the flash count? I want to flash my GF's SGS2 but want solid confirmation that the jig works first...

I got one from ebay and it works.

Just curious, why would you want to reset flash count?

I have one too but it appears it doesn't work on the newer bootloaders. Flash an older bootloader and you'll be OK.

Only reason is for warranty.

Every time you flash your phone your flash counter goes up. Manufacturer can check your flash counter to see if you've flashed and voided your warranty.

Anything above 0 on the counter = flashed/void warranty from what I know.
