illicitstylz 04-27-2011 10:21 PM

I guess i've been doing my bench presses wrong this whole time.

edit: uploader closed his account LOL

what is this. i don't even.

RRxtar 04-27-2011 10:36 PM

Going to add Single Right arm barbell ISOMETRIC bicep hold curls to my wrist curl day. But only if theres a squat rack available. You guys think I should buy a belt too or should straps be enough? I will chalk my feet for sure tho.

Your response = my thoughts exactly hahaha.

So far so good with ketosis. I'm eating around 4-5 times a day, kinda screwed up today because I went to sleep at 5am woke up at 7am, then napped from 7pm-11pm lol. I'm loving cooking with butter, I haven't had eggs that taste like this since my parents switched over to margarine (15 years ago) ... feels like im a kid again :D

I don't know, you want that core strength for when you compete. I'd avoid the belt. Definitely get some straps though!

vibram five fingers or nike free 3.0 or 5.0 for lifting?
or any other suggestions? (would be good if they could be used for running too)

The_Situation 04-28-2011 06:48 PM

lol vibrams for lifting. I'd be scared of crushing my feet for whatever reason.

Whats a realistic goal to set for squats for a year from now? I
Was thinking 100lbs, but it seems like a lot.

illicitstylz 04-28-2011 07:50 PM

you mean adding 100lbs to the original, or 100lbs total weight?

PK6o4* 04-28-2011 07:51 PM

it says a year from now so probably +100 from what hes at now

That depends. How much weight have you added this year to your squat? I think adding a plate in a year is quite achievable

RRxtar 04-28-2011 08:33 PM

How much do you lift now and how long have you been lifting?

going from 0-100 could happen in a week. going from 300 to 400 could take a few years

but for an average guy, 100lbs in a year should be quite easy.

strykn 04-28-2011 09:14 PM

i hear this a lot but im pretty sure at a high weight (200 lbs+), wearing a padded shoe or a vibrams will not make a difference if it falls on you.. you will be in the ER for sure.

ws6ta 04-28-2011 09:53 PM
