Nice - I just found that out recently during deload and practicing form. I felt that flaring my lats and locking it in, gave me more pull.
I use to only flare it when locking out

failed deadlifting 295lbsx1 tonight...twice. going to be thinking about this all week long. 295lbs is mine next week.

Well, the gym reminds me of a hobo. It smells..outside and inside (at times). As someone mentioned previous, it's behind or beside some sorta sewage line or something? Okay, besides from that the second thing is that the gym has ZERO flow. I'm not talking about Feng Shui and shit...but everything is disheveled, much like a hobo. You can't find ANY weights...they're all hiding or something.

Some guys there have egos that are incredibly huge. Some bruh was talking about craze, jack3d...etc then does 1/4 squats with some pussy weight. Sees me do my clean and press no shoes, decides to copy (I assume)...and does no better on his squat, lol.

There's just a large amount of fail in that gym even when you take out the human equation. I guess for $15? or whatever it is you guys pay, it's half decent. I think it's worse than when I went to Bonsor, though.

SFU is still the best gym I've been to (needs some platforms though). FW and all of their locations are generally pretty good as well.

Once you go there for a while its fine. You start knowing what time it gets packed at and where to find the weights. You also need to establish your dominance there.

After a week, you won't even notice the smell.
Were you the guy in the red? Doing stuff during crossfit?

And all gyms have guys with huge egos, these tend to be the curl bros and machine only guys. Just ignore'em.

Plug in some music, and go heavy - I say.

Yeah I honestly don't run into anymore problems at sc. Only thing I can think of is waiting for the power rack sometimes, but that goes for any gym.
Oh and the asian guy that works out with the filipino girl at the front desk. He can be dangerous some times ie. dropping the whole bar at the rack while squatting.

Heard there's a bar/restaurant at sport central, you guys ever eat/chill there?

I checked out the pictures on their site and the facility looks pretty big/open to me... it must be packed with alot of people for you guys to start getting annoyed about it

Nah, wasn't me. I was there around 8:30-9:30 or so? Grey/charcoal v-neck with blue UA shorts.

There's something that irks me about nub-sticks with huge egos. When I go to FW there are some big guys who are utter fucking douches but they're big. Most if not all of the pinner guys are pretty quiet and don't say shit.

I also noticed no body there grunts, lol. I found that super duper odd. The entire gym, I could only hear myself grunting. People probably though I was retarded :fuckthatshit:.

I know a gym is a gym and it is what you make of it, so I'm not hating on those that go there but because I have a choice to not go there, I'm definitely exercising it!
