JUST got off the phone with Rogers. Got tired of paying $77-$79 (includes taxes) a month for: 200daytime minutes 125 txt messages sendable unlimited evenings/weekends starting at 6pm unlimited txt receiving voicemail/caller ID 6gig data plan Told the rep that I just couldn't justify spending that much on a cellular bill that I feel am not getting the most out of (my average data usage per month was maybe 100mb). So, he gave me this based on a 3yr renewal and wont' affect my hardware upg (so when the damn iphone4 is back in stock i can buy it). 200 daytime minutes 2500 txt messages sendable unlimited evenings/weekends starting at 6pm unlimited txt receiving voicemail/caller ID 6gig data plan $50.75 TAXES AND ALL FEES IN. per month. so i took it... i didnt want to push my luck being a rogers customer for not even 2yrs yet. **daytime mins are low but i'm never on my phone during the day. |
^^^^^^ im goin to say the same thing my plans pissing me off, but im just goin to wait until i do my hardware upgrade |
I'm waiting on hold right now, I'm just going to say Telus is giving me a better deal so I want to cancel. Tell them the same plan on the prev page but say 500 daytime minutes and I hope I get it. Which I should I think. I'm new to this so I dunno lol |

Called today and got: -200 day -UL E/W @ 6 -UNC -VP (CID, VM, 2500 txt) -6GB data -GRF $50 (before taxes). Before: -250 day -UL E/W @ 6 -r2r -VP (CID, VM, 2500 outgoing text) -SAF $27 (before taxes). |
Looks decent I guess tho the one above seems to be a bit better |
I finally got a Blackberry and I wanna add bbm to my plan. I currently have the 2500 txt msg add-on to my plan and I only need bbm. What would be the best way to get it for the cheapest? |
^i think its $15 just for the email and instant msging plan..that includes bbm.. if you dont want a data plan that is... or the other alternative is to convince them do give you the $15 for 150mb or even the so called $10 flex rate plan... usually bb i dont even go over 50mb a month...so yea |

I'm fine with paying the $5 more as I have the $10 2500 text plan which I can cancel if they give me unlimited text/im/social network for $15. |
I think it really depends on who you get/what you say. Whenever I've called in I'm always honest and when I want something I usually get it. I think the key is to not ask for TOO much, I've always asked for one or two small things here and there |

Since I'm planning to do this retention thing soon who I'm I supposed to ask fir when I get through. I call push the number keys until I get to "changing plans" or what ever the option is and as soon as a rep picks up what do I ask for? To speak with the manager or to be transfered to retentions and then state my case from there and tell them what I want or believe is fair from me to have and so on? Posted via RS Mobile |
I just got off with Retentions and they gave me a plan I was happy with: Voice: 200 daytime plus 100 bonus minutes = 300 total daytime minutes Unlimited evenings and weekends - 6pm unlimited incoming unlimited rogers to rogers Value pkg - 2500 txt messages, voice and CID Govt. Regulatory Recovery Fee Data: 6gb plan All for $56.65 all taxes in I've seen other people get the same thing for a couple dollars less, or a few more Long Distance perks for around the same price or even 50 more daytime minutes...but this was close enough and I'm very happy with it. Oh but I did have to renew to a full 3 year plan...which doesnt bother me at all since I've been with rogers my entire life and will probably be with them the rest of my life |
How much time was left on your guys current plan before you resigned to another 3 year plan? After reading some peoples plans on here I feel like I'm getting screwed lol Posted via RS Mobile |
my contract was up in march 2011 |
