Rogers retention wont give me better pricing,, talked to 3 of them....( told them my contract expired and is looking to find better plan and save some money and don't mind signing 3 yr contract if it is good plan)

can someone explain to me how da fuk rogers manage to charge ppl $20bux for the value pack with visual voicemail? like visual voicemail is iphone only basically and they want $8 bux more than regular voicemail?

try for the retentions one i think the VP is only $15

Ask for the 1gb for $15, so you get $15 in credit.
when you upgrade to 6gb, hopefully the credit still applies and u get 6gb for $15

I've been with rogers for 8 years and I'm still paying the system acess fee and the 911 fee which adds up to 10$ around? extra

currently I have 250 daytime free incoming, free calling from 6pm and weekends and voicemail and caller id for including tax

I plan on getting an iphone 4 or 3 doesnt really matter.

but does anyone have an idea how much rogers rentetion plans are?

My gf is paying 27$ a month for 100 mb, free voicemail and caller id 200 day time minutes unlimited calling after 5pm for her newley bought iphone 4.

any advice would be good.

You've seen some of the plans that have been posted here and you should be able to match any of them. If you haven't seen the plans, I would suggest that you look back a few pages and do some research.

Beating them, however, is a completely different situation.

I've been on this plan for about a year now. I think I can get better considering I am still paying the SAF.

It would be ideal that your contract is up but then again, there is always room to get a "better" plan.

Just got off the phone with customer relations... Didn't change my plan at all but finally got my hands on an iphone 4 16gb at 159.

I'm only 17 months into my current contract so it works out pretty good considering both the promotion and the HUP eligibility have changed.

The rep I spoke with was SUPER nice/polite as well...

^ get ready to pay a $35 admin fee when you pick up your iphone

^ It's not a big deal, and worthwhile either way i've been having quite a few problems with my current phone

^^ when you get the phone, go and CALL them and say "please check your record, but i was never told the 35 dollars access fee. They will put you on hold and they will confirm they never told you this and they will credit you.

You can't get an epic plan UNLESS you want to sign up for a 3 yr contract and you've been with them for a while.
