Go complain to apple. Apple would likely deal with your issue and you'll be more successful with them. |

Ooooo, sooo pissed off. Been trying to call Rogers for the past three days to get my plan changed (need to add more daytime minutes) and doing it via online's My Wireless Essentials is no help. Even going into the local Rogers stores I'm met with mere imbecile salespeople who claim they can't add in more daytime minutes without dumping my current plan and essentially bumping the final cost up by an extra $30/month for only 50 more daytime minutes. Time for retentions. Roger's lack of customer service over the past few months has gotten me wanting to change carriers. The last two times I tried calling I was on hold for 45 minutes when both times the call got dropped. Strangely enough, the phone hadn't moved position to lose signal at all in that time. Sigh. |
^^yeah, try retentions first. An easier thing to get might be Rogers 2 Rogers, can you live with that? |

Threaten to cancel, jump ship to Bell, buy a Pre, whatever. Then negotiate to your heart's (and her heart's!) delight. Good luck, sir. May the Reception be with you. |

Is the following any good? Its my first retention call. 59.82 including tax 250mins, Rogers to rogers, unlimited evening/weekend 6pm-7am. Caller Id, Voice mail, 2500 txt , 500MB data usage. Take it or leave it? |
^^^It includes data, I think it's okay! |

It would be a really odd number if it weren't. |
so how did i get through with retentions i threatened to cancel and they told me go ahead? I told them it would be cheaper if I canceled now, pay the 500, sell the iphone, and switch over to telus which was offering me an awesome deal at 45 (which they were) and I'd save around 2 grand after a 3 year term. I'm getting raped right now. I'm paying 110 a month. |
^ lol The last time I called in ( to Fido ) I just said that Rogers has better plans than what I am on right now ( and I have been on Fido for like 4-5 years now ) and was wondering if they could give me anything better? I said that I'd prefer not to have to switch but if this is the most Fido can give me then I will. |
